amazing place for relaxing Florida beach vacation

I have stayed here a couple times and had a wonderful time. The home itself is large and gorgeous -- everything is new and very clean. The renter was very accommodating. The kitchen is large and we were able to make a few great meals there. There's a nice grocery store right by the entrance to the neighborhood -- which, by the way, is very safe, upscale, and beautiful.
Just a few yards away is a golf course right on the beach, with a path to the beach. We were the only ones on the beach, and the water was clear and warm!
I spent several afternoons reading on the beach, and strolling for sea shells. We also checked out Washington Oaks state park which is a couple miles north on A1A -- what an awesome beach up there, and gorgeous trails next to the Waterway (the Intracoastal waterway is just to the east, so Hammock Beach is actually a coastal island).
We mostly hung out and relaxed at the house and the beach, but spent a day up in St. Augustine which was awesome. It's the oldest town in the US. We walked around St. George Street which you have to check out, toured the Spanish fort, and ate some awesome seafood -- Harry's for lunch, and A1A Aleworks for dinner. Both have views of the water.
Another place you have to check out is a little seafood shack south, near Flagler Beach, right on the ocean!! I can't remember the name, but ask the owner of the house!!
One of the coolest drives I have ever taken in my life is along A1A in this area so be sure to check it out! The 2 lane road is right along the dunes about 10 feet from the beach. Definitely rent a car so you can check out the sites.
