Relaxing on the banks

We stayed at this property, Apr 19th-26th 2008, we came for some rest and relaxation, which I must say we got. The house was very private even tho' it was on an property with many other houses, but at this time of year it is quieter, the balconies are very nice to relax on, read a book, have a quiet drink etc, the hot tub was well used, and probably more practical this time of year as it's still a little cool for pool's. The beach was beautiful, a good walkers beach, my only comment on this is that they should have some parking for handicapped people with beach access available on the property but this has nothing to do with the house it's self, the walk to the beach was quite easy, but a little far for someone with a disability. We had a couple of rainy days which was fine as it gave us time to read, watch a few movies (there is a good selection at the house for guests use) and generaly slow down after our drive, over all we loved our visit. We wished we had longer to stay but work calls!

Owner's Response: Thanks very much Kruisen Kath. We are so glad you enjoyed your stay at Les Sables, and you came all the way from Canada! It's unfortunate that there are not enough handicap accomodations for those who want to visit the beach. Even if you drive around the block to the handicap/emergency beach parking, the dunes are high and accessible by stairs.
Thanks again for your thoughtful review. We welcome you back again in the future.
