PRIVATE DECK, PICNIC AREA AND FLOWER GARDENS: Entry to the apartment is through a side door into a foyer/mud room with coat hook and a boot rack. A wide carpeted stairs leads to the apartment. The foyer also has an entry way into the heated garage which is equipped with a work bench perfect for prepping skis. There is also a garden sink for cleaning muddy shoes. The garage also has ski racks, hooks and storage areas for backpacks and other outdoor gear. One garage bay for parking will be included for a small fee.
Apartment also includes: Two large closets with clothes racks and shelves. The hall closet is equipped with games, puzzles and children's toys. Large deck with mountain view has steps leading to a ground level picnic area with gas grill and picnic table . Two flower gardens add beauty to the apartment view.
Baby gates installed at the top of stairs both in the apartment and on the deck for extra safety (upon request).

MULTI GENERATIONS & MULTI FAMILIES: Many New England families use Humphrey's Ledge as a meeting place for family/friends living in different parts of the country. Brothers/sisters, parents and grandparents enjoy the NH mountains together. Last year families came from California, Texas, Florida, Ohio, Maryland, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania as well as Maine, VT, RI and NH. EUROPEAN & CANADIAN FAMILIES: we delight in sharing our home with international guests. Last year European guests came from the UK, Scotland and Switzerland, Canadians from Montreal and Ottawa. A discounted rate will apply when both the house and apartment are under the same agreement and rental period. The house sleeps 9 with a separate private deck and children's play area
CHILD CARE SERVICES AND OUTDOOR FUN FOR ALL AGES: The Humphrey's Ledge property is perfect for families with children. Special 'on site' child entertaining services may be possible with advance notice. The owner loves children and enjoys engaging children in games, arts and crafts, and nature walks.
ADVICE ABOUT LOCAL ACTIVITIES will gladly be provided by the Owner. I live in the area and know well the wonderful opportunities that the Mt Washington Valley can provide.
My husband Sam and I are recently retired and are enjoying 'the good life' in the NH mountains. We moved up North from Boston, Massachusetts after 25 years of traveling up to the NH mountains on weekends. We love to travel in the US and internationallly. The house adjacent to the garage/apartment complex and the 1.7 acres was our weekend vacation property for 25 years. When we moved into the property 5 years ago, we built the large garage and second floor apartment and deck. We personally worked with the contractor on every aspect of the exterior and interior features. We hoped one day to have a place out west, but keep the apartment as our New England 'get a way'. It is very special to us and that is reflected in the lighting and contemporary beauty of this apartment.
