4-zone split A/C sys for comfort - 2 bedrooms & loft, 2 full bathrooms, sleeps 6

This large air-conditioned condo sleeps six. It has one queen-sized bed in the Master bedroom on the ground floor, and four twin-beds upstairs, two in the loft and two in the second bedroom. Each room is its own temp 'zone' and has its own adjustable thermostat.

Ocean Edge Resort has everything - three swimming pools, two restaurants, tennis and basketball courts, golf course, walking, biking, roller-blade pathways, bay side and ocean beaches nearby. Condo is located in Howland Village only a short walk from the forested trails and fresh water ponds of nearby Nickerson State Park, about 1/2-mile from the nearest swimming pool (Fletcher). The paved Cape Cod Rail Trail passes through both Nickerson State Park and Ocean Edge Resort. It goes for miles and miles in both directions, providing a safe place to walk, jog, or ride a bike for strenuous fitness runs or leisurely family outings with small children. Bike rentals are available all along the trail, including at the Ocean Edge Resort

This condo has a well equipped kitchen with plenty of pots and pans, serving utensils, measuring cups and spoons, baking pans, cookie sheets, sharp knives, silverware, dishes, cups, glasses, place mats, etc. There is a microwave oven, coffee maker, blender, electric frying pan, electric mixer, electric can opener and several ice-cube trays. There is a lobster pot, dishpan and drainer, cutting boards, grater and other cooking and baking paraphernalia typically found in well equipped kitchens.

All beds will be made up with clean sheets and pillow cases upon arrival. Extra pillows and pillow cases are available. Guests must provide their own hand and bath towels, wash cloths, dish cloths, paper towels, etc.

The energy efficient air-conditioning system includes an integrated heat pump that provides both cool or warm, dehumidified, filtered, ionized air throughout the condo for complete comfort in any weather. Using 'split' system technology, both bedrooms, the loft and the large living/dining room area can each be set to different temperatures maintained by separate thermostats to match individual preferences and desired comfort levels. Thermostats in each zone are hand held remote control devices similar to a TV remote and are extremely easy to use.

About access to Ocean Edge Resort's Pools: Ocean Edge Resort (OE) features lovely swimming pool areas that are well equipped and maintained. The Fletcher Pools complex is the largest one, and is the nearest one to this unit -- about one-half-mile away. Note that due to a change in the Resort's rules, condo owners can no longer provide their guests with free access to the pools. Renters now pay for their use of the pools.

Adult guests pay $10 per day; children under 12 pay $5 per day each; kids 2 and under are free. Weekly passes are available; adults $40; children $25 each. This fee provides unlimited access to all available pools with color coded wristbands distributed/purchased directly at all pool venues.

Our vacation was very relaxing and this home was very comfortable. The wireless internet and air conditioning was a very big bonus. They both worked beautifully. The property is clean and in a safe and private location. The owner provided everything needed to enjoy our vacation and more. I highly recommend this rental.

This condo is beautiful. It is furnished nicely and well equipped. My daughter, myself and two grandchildren (10 and 8 years) were there for 2 weeks. My
son-in-law joined us for the second week. We were very comfortable and felt at home. We would definitely rent it again.The owners were very thoughtful in providing useful information before and leaving Guide Books at the condo.
The condo was large enough to allow for privacy. The 2 rooms and bathroom upstairs felt like a separate apartment. Room controlled A/C worked well for individual preferences. The three television sets also kept everyone happy.

However there is so much to do on The Cape that we did not spend much time in. Ocean Edge is very well maintained, the swimming pools and sports facilities are
excellent. We love the tidal beaches of Brewester, Orleans and the proximity to other Cape attractions. The fish and ice cream at JT's are super!

Lovely stay at condo

My husband and I rented this Ocean Edge condo for our stay on Cape Cod with our 2 young adult sons. (A last family vacation as their lives take them out and about!) We found Brewster's relative quietness a pleasure - enough activities and restaurants in the area to keep us busy - and it's closeness to other busier areas of the Cape a plus. The Ocean Edge Resort is lovely and has many nice amenities. This condo is wonderful. We found it to be just as described; clean, comfortable and well-equipped, and roomy enough for the 4 of us. We enjoyed the pools, the grounds for walks/jogs and the access to the Cape Cod Rail Trail for biking. The rental process went smoothly from start to finish. Our vacation was a pleasure because the owners have taken the time to consider their renters' needs. I highly recommend this property to others.
Owner's Response: Before buying this condo several years ago, we rented similar units from others five times. We had both good and not so good experiences. We decided then that if we ever were lucky enough to own one of these lovely places ourselves, we would consider all of our renters as our guests. We strive to treat every single guest the way we would like to be treated, and with the same level of thoughtful, courteous hospitality we would offer them if they were staying in our home -- because, actually -- they are! This is our beloved home, albeit our second home, but we are glad to share it with others when we cannot use it ourselves. It makes us very happy that some of our guest-renters have chosen to stay in our unit each summer for several years in a row.
