This cottage was rented by two adults and one child. It is in a great location, on the marsh. Walking distance to the best beach in New England, Goose Rocks Beach. The home offers all the necessities. Had an excellent time.

Great Place!

We just had our vacation at this property last week. We were very impressed with the house and all the amenities. It was nicely decorated, had everything anyone could possibly need in the kitchen, and the queen bed was very comfortable. It was very convenient to all the sights we wanted to visit, and was quite close to the beach. There is a little convenience store right up the street in case you need something and don't want to travel to a larger grocery store. We loved our stay--just sad that it went by so fast!

Perfect View of Nature

The property was as described, clean and well maintained. Jennifer was very responsive to our needs and requests and always very prompt. Unfortunately it didn't just rain, it poured for seven of the 10 days we were there. So we sat and watched the rain and the wild life through the picture window overlooking the marsh. It was quite active with, egrets, hawks, crows, deer and even a moose sauntered through the marsh one afternoon. All in all a lovely place to relax and unwind. Southern Maine is our second home, so we tend to live like we are at home, and don't do the tourist thing. We just hung around and when the rain did let up we walked the beach which is heaven!

Grandmother, son & daughter-in-law, 4 yr. & 5 yr. grandchildren all enjoyed this cottage. We cooked fresh lobster, searched for shells, flew kites, loved the beach--it's just down the road. We would go back in a heartbeat!!

"Perfect"

Sweet little house in the perfect location for our needs. Husband and I stayed last weekend in January. The marsh out the back was beautiful, so peaceful. I can only imagine what it is like in the spring! Loved the little kitchen area. Opened up roll away sofa, cooked lobster and watched superbowl. Plan to return in the next month and the month after that....

A Perfect Vacation Spot

Everything was as it was described. Nicely renovated, clean and comfortable. Lovely location...near to beach but far enough away to have solitude. Surrounded by wildlife refuge with a visiting deer each evening in our backyard. We could kayak off the back with full tide. Great dock for sitting and marsh viewing or star gazing. Owners are very customer oriented. We spent all our time in the immediate area...lots of walking, kayaking and sitting on the beach. All linens fresh & new. Kitchen had everything you need, with new appliances. We highly recommend this house to others!
