Wonderful Family Vacation!

What a great place! Perfect location, perfect property, perfect price! I renetd this condo so that I could take my children (grown) and grandchildren away for a long weekend. We had a blast! We could get to so much (Story Land, Santa's Village, Clark's Trading Post, hiking, swimming), and still have a very comfortable home base. The room with the bunk beds was by far the favorite for my grandchildren. They all sat up there happily watching a movie while the adults made dinner or relaxed for a bit. The kitchen is very well stocked. It was really nice to be able to wak to dinner. The owner was sooo nice to work with. She had information and web sites about the surrounding area which gave me a great place to start planning my vacation. They even had a bed rail which came in so handy for my youngest granddaughter. We will definitely be going back next year!

We enjoyed a wonderful week in this Alpine Village Townhouse. We could walk to the village shops, restaurants and the riverside park. We also had an easy drive to the Franconia Notch natural sites such as the Flume, the Basin and the Old Man in the Mountain historical site. The condo itself was very clean, well provisioned with linens, towels and kitchen supplies. We found the layout of the living room and eating area particularly nice for our group of 10--4 adults and 6 teenagers. The rooms upstairs were small, but fine for us since we spent the time outside or at the Loon Pool and Club or at the tennis courts on the property. The owners gave us great service and were a pleasure to deal with when we were making the arrangements and afterward. I highly recommend this property and certainly hope to go back!

I stayed at the condo with my wife and 3 children along with my sister and her daughter in late June 2009. The sleeping arrangments were great (4 bedrooms) with everyone getting their own bedroom and the set-up of the kitchen and dinning rooms were good. Access to the pool facilities were a real bonus for us. The location was a big plus. Walking distance to a general store, breakfast and dinner restaurants and a good jump off point to local attractions.

I visited NH to go skiing 4 times this winter, by far the best bang for my buck. Loved the house and location. Will definetly be coming back next winter. Thanks again

This unit was exactly as stated and it was very clean. It appeared to be freshly painted and was very comfortable. The owner was responsive and accomodating, answering our questions by e-mail about a sledding hill for the grandchildren!
The Lincoln-Woodstock area is convenient to Rte 93 and Franconia Notch. It has a supermarket within 2 miles - important when traveling with children - as well as a variety of restaurants nearby. I would certainly rent this unit again.

Weekend in December

My husband and I have rented in December for over 15 years at Loon, with our children.They are now grown and have children of their own. We have rented at Alpine Village for a number of years and like the area very much.This year we rented this townhouse and were very pleased with everything. We were especially happy with the dining room/kitchen area. There was plenty of room to watch TV, while others played games at the dining room table.It was easy to email and comunicate with the owners.We hope to rent there again next December!

Me and my family just recently rented this townhouse. We really enjoyed ourself. The desciption was exactly as state. The property was very clean, they provide you with everything minus the food lol. The owners are great. I will definitely recommend this property and i will definitely return again next year.
Great Place near Loon Mountain

This is a great place very close to Loon Mountain. There's a shuttle down the street and you're literally 5 minutes from the mountain base. You can drive there or take the shuttle. No need to take the highway (93)....everything the town has to offer is down the street.
The place is well maintained, clean and we found the owner to be very responsive and always available. The swimming pool, jacuzzi and saunas are at the mountain base (Loon Mountain Fitness Club) and are about 5 minutes away. The hours are very flexible (the fitness club closes at 10pm). The swimming pool gets a bit crowded around 4-6pm but after that it's pretty empty - don't expect Olympic-style pool for serious laps but it's large enough to relax and have fun.
The place should provide enough room for 8-10 people. We had 8 people (4 bedrooms) with 3 couples and 2 bachelor guys and everyone had fun. There are 2 full bathrooms in the house so nobody had to wait. Overall we were all satisfied with the place and would definitely recommend it.

Owner's Response: The moutain club does rope off a separate section of the pool for people who want to swim laps. Although probably not olympic length, you will get a good work-out.
