Grand Lake Getaway

We came up from Denver for a long weekend and enjoyed ourselves to no end. The cabin is pleasantly updated with everything you need to be comfortable but still has that mountain cabin feel. We saw elk, moose and deer right by the cabin. We highly recommend the cabin!

The cabin was in an excellent location. Close to many activities, even in other towns. Comfortable beds. Wireless internet worked well for the kids. Nice kitchen to cook your own meals. Wonderful to have washer and dryer to use so don't have to go home with a bunch of dirty clothes. Nice area to walk around. Had a deer one morning just outside front window. Lake for fishing was pretty. Summer nights cooled down enough for enjoyable sleeping environment. Great to sit out on deck and have a mountain view. Golf course in the area was fun and challenging. Couple good restaurants in town. Kids had fun with go-karts. Beautiful drive through Rocky Mountain National forest - a must! Owner wonderful to work with. Did an excellent job taking care of us. Thanks so much. Kids never complained once!

We stayed here over the 4th of July holiday. The cabin is very clean and comfotable. The fireworks display over Grand Lake could be seen from the cabin so we did not have to fight the crowd in town,instead we grilled steaks and enjoyed them from the deck. While fishing on the private lake we saw 3 moose and caught some fish. We can't wait to come back again.

I just stayed in this lovely cabin last week. It was a very enjoyable home to spend a long weekend in. The beds were very comfortable, the rooms were spacious and it felt like we were " at home" during our stay. We really enjoyed BBQing on the deck, which had nice views and was very quiet. We enjoyed walking around the lake which we could see from the deck and bedrooms. Only being a few minutes from town and the golf course was a big plus for us. We hope to be back again next summer ! Cozy cabin, just perfect for our family of 4 spending a relaxing weekend skiing and snowmobiling. Very clean, nice gas fireplace that keeps you warm. Great value and location. Owner very friendly. We are already thinking of when we can return.

Lovely accommodations, well furnished, clean, tastefully decorated, comfortable. Would highly recommend to anyone who wants a quiet place to relax and watch the wild life.
