We have been coming to Silverton since 1960, including 5 generations of our family and many friends during those years. We have gone from tents to pop-up campers to motorhomes, and now we prefer to rent a home in Silverton, As advertised, Lola's Place is truly a mountain home away from home. If cold outside, it is warm and cozy; if a little warm in the summer, the ceiling fans in each room make it very comfortable. The pictures in the ad are very good in showing what it is actually like. We have stayed there many times, and it is such a warm, cozy home that we love it. Tommy and Patti make it very enjoyable by providing everything you could ever need in this home away from home. They are very helpful with anything that you might need to know. Lola's is very clean and well furnished. The view of the mountains and the town from the large upstairs windows on 3 sides is absolutely beautiful. One Thanksgiving when we were there, we loved watching the snow fall from those windows. The decor of every room is beautiful with "a touch of Patti." With the log walls and the beautiful antique furniture, I would call its style "rustic elegance." You can go there with some food and clothes and everything else that you might need is there, including absolutely everything to cook with. The friendship of Tommy and Patti is an added plus to Lola's Place, including Jax and Gus, their dogs, who play with Diva, our rat terrier. We have had many wonderful times there, including this early spring visit. Everything considered, I don't think that you can find a nicer place to stay and feel at home than Lola's Place!
