Perfect for our Family Reunion!
This house was the perfect place for me and my siblings and parents, as well as spouses and grand kids, to stay together while in town celebrating our favorite uncle's 80th birthday! It ended up being a wonderful family reunion of our own, too!
The accommodations were both comfortable and plentiful! Everything we needed was provided, and it was easy to settle in immediately. There is a wonderful sense of peace, love, and happiness about the place that is almost tangible. The landlord also recommended a wonderful caterer who went above and beyond to prepare three absolutely delicious meals for us - which abundantly provided leftovers which we enjoyed throughout our stay. My family kept thanking me for all the work I did to pull it all together... but in truth, the homeowner and caterer were the ones who took care of all the details!
Sitting around the table playing games, laughing and talking in front of the fireplace, sitting in the gorgeous sun porch, enjoying the yard, swinging under the tremendous oak tree, taking walks to nearby beaches... our family connected in special ways that never could have occurred had we stayed in a hotel. I highly recommend this house, the landlord (she rents several other homes as well), and the caterer. Not only was the price reasonable for my family to afford, the excellent customer service we received made it obvious that they both share a passion for serving their guests.

What a special place!!
This home was perfect! Beautifully appointed and nicely kept. Close to downtown Old Saybrook, the beaches, and Essex Village. Plenty of room for everyone to sleep with comfortable beds. We enjoyed having our coffee in the sunroom. The property managers were easy and accomodating to work with. I would stay here again next time I visit Old Saybrook!

Fun Family Times
We were at full capacity in this house, which was perfect for our annual family gathering with CT and CA relatives. The vacation was built around a wedding held in Mystic so the proximity was just right. The yard was spacious and the house is set back so you don't feel like you're on a main road. Definitely a fun place to stay with a little bit of quirkiness that goes with old houses.

We attended a wedding at the Saybrook Point Inn and needed a place for 11 adults who came from as far away as Oregon to meet. The house was perfect. The pictures on the website do not do the house justice. It is large and well appointed. There was more than enough room for all of us to feel quite comfortable. Even though the weather outside didn’t cooperate (it either rained or was overcast all weekend), no one seemed to mind. It was also nice that we didn't have to worry about bringing towels, sheets, blankets, etc. Everything was provided. The house and property are lovely and I would definitely recommend this house without hesitation.

Endures the test of time, it just gets better!
Just returned home to Florida from my annual trip to New England in the fall. I must say that staying at the historic Nathaniel Clark house (my second stay) was the highlight of my trip. I was very pleasantly surprised at the changes and updates that had been made since my last visit. The property has such a wonderful sense of preservation but also has all the modern conveniences. The house boasts a surprising amount of space and number or rooms, all of which are well accessorized for the particular room, everything you'd want is there. The location couldn't be better, centrally located in town, close to beaches and shopping but sits on a large and private parcel of land. This trip I enjoyed finding new artwork and colorful accents throughout the house. My wife and kids were also thrilled with my choosing this home once again. Thank you Yvette for all your touches! I highly recommend this wonderful retreat. See you next year.

Great place wonderful owner!
My daughter's wedding was this weekend at the Rocky Neck State Park Pavilion so we needed a place that could hold lots of people and be beautiful enough for bridal pictures. This house certainly accomplished this! My sister-in-law was the first to arrive and she called me immediately to tell me I was going to LOVE this place, wide planked floors, built in shelves, charming furniture, clean and well maintained and air conditioning in all the bed rooms! My sis-in-law was very impressed and so was I. The king size bed was extremely comfortable and I understand from everyone else in my party that there beds were just as comfortable! We did not have to bring linens or towels...such a bonus! I would highly recommend this property!!!

LOVELY HISTORIC HOME!!!!
I absolutely LOVE this home!! Original hardwood floors, country charm and an AMAZING sun porch made for such a wonderful stay!! Accomodated a very large family with plenty of room for all of us! All the amenities you could ask for! Plenty of outdoor seating and a great bonfire area, complete with seating and even a swing! Washer and dryer on premises was needed for all of the beach towels we used during our stay. I would recommend this incredible home to anyone with a large family! Will definitely return!! The Perfect Home
We were part of a large group that rented this historic home for a wedding. As I walked through the house I was struck with it's historic details, antiques and overall wonderful upkeep. It was the perfect setting for the 12 of us. There was the perfect mix of bedding to meet all our needs. The large backyard was so quiet for being right on US1 and a wonderful al fresco site for our pre-wedding brunch with it's many tables and seating options. I would most definitely recommend this home to anyone who needs a large space for a special occastion or vacation. To the owners.....well done!

Pretty property proximal to beaches and bike path
Lovely large property close to our friends in indiantown. Right on bike route so could take advantage of beautiful old saybrook sights. Large clean grill for entertaining and attentive owner.
Would likely saty again should we see our friends.
