Great place for some R&R

Lt. Dan Texas
Review Submitted: July 11, 2009 Date of Stay: June 2009
We are happy to provide a review of this property as we just completed a week-long stay and were very pleased with the accommodations. Upon our arrival, we were happy to find a welcoming home complete with everything needed to enjoy a worry free vacation. The property is clean and well cared for and the open floor plan was large enough to comfortably accommodate our party of six. The property is located within the Village of Oak Creek and the grocery store is conveniently located a short distance from the house.

After settling in we did a little exploring and were happy to discover a small park less than a 1/2 mile away that had a basketball court, jungle gym and green grass to relax and have some fun with the kids. This discovery, added to everything else that Sedona has to offer, made our visit all the more enjoyable. If you have small children who want to swim, the City of Sedona has a public swimming pool on the west side of town that will meet that need. If you like to ride bicycles, there are numerous on and off-road trails that are sure to please.

Overall, we had a fantastic time and can't wait to visit the area again in the future.

One last note; if you want to see the cleanest garage in all of Arizona, check this place out!

Quiet Neighborhood. Great location!

This inviting home is perfectly situated in a quiet neighborhood at the base of Castle Rock. Wake every morning to a magnificent view of the red rocks and take a walk down to the Cafe at the end of the road for breakfast! All amenities located within walking distance. Located in the Oak Creek section, it is far enough away from the hussle and bustle of the more touristy Sedona, but close enough to enjoy all the great activities. The house is well appointed with just the right amount of everything. Our family of 6 was very comfortable in this house. We will definitely be back!

Quiet and Comfortable

This was the perfect home base for my husband and I to enjoy Sedona and the surrounding area. There is easy access to the wonderful red rock trails as well as the highways in and out of town.

We always prefer to stay in vacation homes when we travel. This home was bright, clean and comfortable with enough room to really feel at home.

Each morning we enjoyed our coffee on the back patio and were joined by loads of adorable quail. If you are looking for a peaceful, comfortable place to spend your vacation you will certianly enjoy this home.

I also did a bit of checking for restaurants in the area with favorable reviews. Savannah was by far the best meal we had but a close second and far less expensive was the Elote Cafe at the Kings Ransom Hotel.

Peaceful Location

Review Submitted: September 24, 2008 Date of Stay: September 2008
We stayed at the house to attend a wedding in Sedona. The place is very clean, and everything works. Something they did not mention in their description was high speed wireless internet. This was a definite plus as I was able to check up on things back home with no problem. The neighborhood is very quiet and relaxing. The house is quite large for the price, and definitely a much better stay than a hotel. The kids loved it as they each got their own room. I highly recommend this home and will try and book it again in the future.

A Nice Home Away From Home

d89 Grand Rapids, Michigan
Review Submitted: September 23, 2008 Date of Stay: September 2008
Staying here was comfortable and relaxing. We used the outside patio every morning for breakfast. We were never bothered by anyone and it was private and quiet. We grilled hamburgs on the grill, and enjoyed watching the quail. The bed is very comfortable and everything is very clean. Everything you need is provided plus extras. Nice neighborhood. Easy and quick entry to and from highways, yet tucked back away from traffic and very quiet. Grocery store, visitor center, shopping very close. Beautiful red rock views. We would stay here again. We only had two people but this home can accommodate more easily. What we liked was the non-busy streets we traveled to and from the home.

If you need a place for some R&R, stay here

My 2 sons and I spent a couple of days in this home during the latter part of July and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. I found the home to be clean, inviting and nicely furnished. The view from the back yard provides a nice scene of the red rock formations and the covered patio is a welcome place to relax with a cool glass of your favorite beverage.

One of the things I especially liked about this home were the large pine trees that provide shade for the driveway. In addition to keeping your car relatively cool, the pine scent is a real plus and adds to the ambience of the surrounding area. During our stay we saw a family of quail make their way across the back yard. We also saw a few cotton tail rabbits, a road runner and some hummingbirds.

The nearby school turned out to be a great place for the kids to run and play and the grassy school yard was a pleasant surprise that we used to kick around a soccer ball.

With easy access to everything that Sedona and the surrounding area has to offer, I would recommend this to anyone looking for a quiet place to relax and recharge.

Sedona Spring Break

Bob D Muscatine, Iowa, USA
Review Submitted: July 22, 2008 Date of Stay: March 2008
We had a great time in Sedona, and found the rental home we stayed at to be very comfy, great easy location, and well furnished for our break from an Iowa winter. It was easy to spend each day out and about hiking, driving the coupel hours to the Grand Canyon for the day, shopping or dining. The home is close to restaurants if you want to eat out, and even closer to the local grocery store which helped us keep the cost down. The back yard was peaceful and has a great view of some of the local red rocks. There were several games provided which we enjoyed most evenings while we relaxed form the days activities. Overall one of my family's best vacations!

The home was good sized and very reasonably priced compared to others in the area. The two bedrooms and full baths were great for my family, and we even used the den as sleeping accomodations for our daughter's boyfriend who was with us. He had his privacy at night.

We do recommend the helicopter tour, and the red drive yourself jeeps were so much fun when we got back my daughter decided she wanted a jeep... (nevermind Dad had been telling her all along that might be a fun vehicle for her). if you want a truly awesome and romantic dinner there is a steakhouse just west/north of Sedona a few miles that is pricey, but some of the best food and service we have had in the world. I believe Dan was our waiter and he could be the class of many NY restaurants with his approach. Order the chocolate dessert!

I would also add the lease, payment and deposit were all easily handled via email, and completely to our satisfaction. If you hold up your end of the bargain Juli and friends will certainly keep theirs. While we like to see many differnet places we'd certainly check to see if this is open when we get back to Sedona.
