50th Anniversary Reunion at Rocky Hollow Lodge
Our family had a wonderful 50th Anniversary party for my parents at Rocky Hollow Lodge. We reserved the main lodge for the party and immediate siblings, while others in our family stayed in the smaller cabins. We loved the rustic Native American charm, yet all modern amenities were available. Our hosts were gracious enough to set up a Christmas tree with gold decorations to fit our golden anniversary theme. We were allowed to decorate the lodge as we wished, which enabled our parents to come over from Lakeview to enjoy the festivities without the whole family invading their home! Each night, we enjoyed gathering around the big bonfire, and tiki torches lined the paths to every cabin. Customer service was excellent! In the morning, we set our basket of towels out front and in the afternoon, clean linens were waiting for us.Our hosts even took pictures for us! The kitchens were well-stocked with tableware and cookware. We were able to prepare all the food we needed. Our two-year-old grandson was entertained on the playground which was centered among the cabins - very easy for us to all keep an eye on him. Overall, our stay was wonderful. We would recommend Rocky Hollow Lodge for your stay. We were there during the week after Christmas and only for the specific reason of celebrating an anniversary. I could see how this property would be fantastic during the warmer seasons also, especially for people wanting a homey atmosphere while enjoying vacationing in the Bull Shoals Reservoir area. It's very close to groceries and shopping in the quaint town of Bull Shoals (within walking distance). Thank you Robert and Patricia for a great time!

A resort that appreciates their guests!
We spend a week every August in Bull Shoals, Arkansas. After staying at the same resort every year for the past 16 years, we decided it was time to find a different resort that appreciates their guests. After many hours of researching, we decided to book with Rocky Hollow Lodge. From the moment we arrived, we knew we found a gem! The resort was beautiful, clean and well kept. We rented the large cabin with the wonderful gathering front porch area that our family used ever morning and evening. The playground was a wonderful area for our granddaughter to play; we we able to keep an eye on her at all times. The owners, Robert and Patty, made us feel so welcomed. Every day they checked in to make sure we had every thing we needed. They truely understand customer service. On the day we left, Patty stopped by to help us with taking pictures. We cannot wait to return next year!

Once again I would like to thank you guys for the three night stay at the lodge we had a wonderfull time the cabin was everything i emagined that i would want a cabin to look like the feal of going back to my youth with my father in fishing cabins when i was young brought back so many good feeling ,plus the friends we brought with us from Mi loved it to,and I'm sure us and them too will have to come back and bring are familys,once again thanks guys you'all were great hoste

Perfect spot!
My family and I have stayed twice and the place is very cozy. Just when you think you might have forgotten something on your list..you open a drawer and there that item is. Theyve thought of everything . The owners are extreamly nice and very personable. I agree with the previous post about the playground! Its is excellent the kiddos enjoyed them selves. Im excited to stay again. Bullshoals is beautiful and this place is the heart of the ozarks. We visited in the summer time and there pool was open. That was the highlight of our visit for our kids lol . We stayed in the 2 bedroom cabin and we comfortably fit all four of us ( and Milo) our little yourteese. pets are welcome and theres room for them to explore. Awesome place :)

we have had 3 family reunions at Rocky Hollow Lodge, and have never been treated any nicer. Robert and Patty are the best host you could have. We will probably have many more reunions here,as long as we can get the dates that fit everyones schedule. AND THE PLAYGROUND IS PERFECT FOR LITTLE ONES!

You have to try this place!!!
My husband and 9 year old daughter and I just got back from staying a week at Rocky Hollow Lodge. The owners are very laid back and very friendly. We were very glad to find a place that is dog friendly so our dog could come on vacation with us. We could not believe how quiet and beautiful the grounds are. There are trees and flowers planted everywhere not to mention the wildlife everywhere. Seeing ground squirrels, deer and tons of birds were a daily occurance. The cabins were SO clean and the mattresses were extrememly nice and comfy. For a smaller cabin, the space is very well used and there is everything you need from kitchen utensils to bath towels. We enjoyed the pool (which is very well kept) every afternoon after coming back from the lake. It was also very nice to have the lodge's private dock to walk down to. You can fish or swim off the dock. Every cabin has a grill and a picnic table which made for very easy dinners. We already are trying to find a week in the Spring to go back. Amazing experience!

Clean, Comfortable, Perfect Location
My grandsons and I have stayed at Rocky Hollow Lodge every summer for the past 5 years while on fishing trips. They look forward to returning each year and wouldn't let me change accomodations even if i wanted to, and i don't. Patty and Rob are gracious hosts and make us feel like family every year. The accomodations are clean and comfortable and the location is perfect. There is plenty to do at the Lodge even if you don't leave the premises. We will be back next year for sure.

Home Away From Home
My Mom and I stayed at Rocky Hollow Lodge for the first time in October of 2011. We were there to visit my son and his family. During past visits we had always stayed in hotels but this time I had to take into consideration my grandson who is 3 and quite active. I have always loved nature and prefer the outdoors when taking a vacation. I fell in love with the Lodge as soon as I saw the pictures on the website. Robert and Patricia were exceptional hosts. I have never been treated better, just like family. The cabins were very clean, and if we needed anything, all we had to do was ask. They're customers are their priority and Robert and Patricia go above and beyond to insure that your stay with them is the best. The grocery store and several restaurants are within a 5 to 10 minute drive and the cabins sit just above the beautiful Bull Shoals Lake...just a short walk down to the shoreline. The trees had really started to change into their fall colors making the scenery absolutely gorgeous. Rocky Hollow Lodge is a very family oriented vacation place and was the perfect place to spend time with my 3 year old grandson as there was a well kept play area for children and plenty of room for him to run around. Patricia even called me on my way there to see how far away we were from the Lodge so that she could turn our porch light on in case it would be dark when we arrived, when in all actuality she was also assisting my son and daughter-in-law in surprising us with a beautiful bouquet of flowers left on the table and my grandson waiting for me at the playground. I was very surprised upon my arrival, they pulled that one off good. Rocky Hollow Lodge provided a very peaceful, relaxing environment for our stay. I can't say enough about Robert and Patricia. They truly care about their guests and put a lot of work and energy into making sure that you have a great experience during your stay. I will definitely book a vacation with them again...I just hope there is a vacancy!
