Found the condo to be very tastefully decorated and comfortable. Enjoyed the hot tub and sitting on the back patio with the lovely view. Convenient location and nice area for walking. Have already booked a return!!!

This was my second year in a row staying at this wonderful property. Once again the owner did an excellent job of providing organized information, which made the check-in process a breeze and was very helpful in making our stay as perfect as possible. She went out of her way to procure an extra parking permit and even called to make sure our stay was going as well as possible. The property feels extremely safe and secure but is also just minutes from delicious restaurants and shopping essentials. I feel lucky to have had the opportunity to stay at the Bermuda Dunes Condo for a second year in a row, and definitely plan on staying there again.
And I certainly could not forget to thank her for the 6 lovely presents she left us in the fridge!

I was so impressed with how well organized the event was and the courteousness of the crowd. Being a 60's girl I learned allot about the new genres of music young people are listening to and creating today. Thumbs up to all the young music makers...I loved it! and my son (14) loved it also. However, he has informed me that the next time he goes...he goes with his friends, Mama will have to stay home... :( Hope to see you next year....

Two of my girlfriends and I needed to get away from Washington state's cold and rainy spring. We were seeking sunshine and relaxtion......and we found it!! The "bungalow" was thoroughly inviting. We arrived to find beautiful flowers in the entry way, jazz playing on the stereo and a bottle of bubbly in the fridge!! The floor to ceiling windows allow light in and a breath taking view of the golf course. All of our meals were enjoyed on the patio, including fresh grapefruit picked from the tree next to the patio. Delicious!! The kitchen was supplied with most everything needed, including spices. The pool is steps from the front door and well maintained. We all felt completely safe and had no security issues whatsoever. The owner of the condo was very easy to work with setting up reservations, even leaving us with recommendations of restaurants and points of interest. We will definitely consider a return visit in the future. We highly recommend a stay at "The Bungalow"!!!

A Perfect Place to Stay

I stayed at this beautiful house for 3 nights and enjoyed every minute of it!
The community and country club are exquisite and I felt extremely safe the entire time. The house has perfect sleeping for 6 and the master bedroom is breathtaking... wait until you see the shower.
I believe the listing description perfectly matched the location and accommodations offered. The only issue with the VRBO listing is that the photos do not properly convey the beauty of the house or the view of the 1st hole of the incredible golf course. The house was clean and well maintained, and I must add that the owner has a well stocked kitchen, of which the early morning coffee was very appreciated.
The owner did an amazing job of working out every last detail, including detailed instructions of where to park. She was incredibly easy to work with, and made the monetary transactions very easy.
I would definitely recommend this property to anyone looking for a relaxing and beautiful weekend for an affordable price.
I can't wait to stay there again next year!

We stayed at villa VRBO #17832 from February 27, 2011 - March 23, 2011. It was in a gated community. In the middle of the day our car was stolen along with my purse. The car was on the street in front of the villa. There were construction, landscaping companies plus utility companies in and out of the "secured" gate. This is not a relaxing vacation area or unit. The contents of this unit appear to be purchased from a Salvation Army store. Lighting is very poor in the living room and the TV does not work in the second bedroom. My husband had to fix the commode as it was not working properly. The telphone was out most of our stay as well as the TV going off. The contract we signed had said we would be penalized if we did not put the furniture back the way we found it. We had moved the patio table to be in the sunshine for morning coffee enjoyment. We did not move it to the original area as we thought the following renters would enjoy that space more. We were penalized $100. It was advertised that there was a golf cart available and then after we had sent our deposit the owner said she was not going to repair the cart because of liability issues. My recommendation is do not rent this unit in this area as it is not safe and too many restrictions placed by owner.
Owner's Response: I am so sorry your experience in our home did not turn out well for you. Our Country Club security reported that my tenants left their purse and cars keys in their vehicle which was not locked. It is unfortunate that anyone would have to experienced the weakness of an individual to take advantage of our community that is typically safe and secure. There have been no instances of cars being stollen in our community for the past 3 years and that was also due to the keys being left in the car by the owners. In this economy thieves are always looking for an opportunity to take advantage of innocent people.
We are so excited to be a part of the "Green" community here in California. Recycling and/or reusing items purchased from the Salvation Army supports programs worldwide for humanitarian reasons. In honor of the Salvation Amy our family will be donating the equivalent amount of charges held as a deposit from your family to support the relief efforts in Japan.
As you can imagine it is very difficult for one housekeeper to move a 60 lb table, extra people must be hired to move furniture back in it's place. For safety reasons and damage to the furniture we ask that the furniture not be moved.
Additional charges against the deposit were to remove pet hair from the furnishings and bedding, fumigate for fleas and shampoo the carpets for pet odors. We have a no pet policy because it is costly to do these things after a pet has been present in the condo, additionally, future guest can enjoy their stay without suffering allergies.
We have added more lighting in the living room. In addition, the TV that was broken in the second bedroom has now been replaced, thank you for letting us know that it was broken, we were unaware that it was a problem. We have now added a 32 inch flat screen TV for the master bedroom. During the summer we will replace the toilet and upgrade the phone wiring. I have decided to remove the golf cart from the rental agreement indefinitely and possibly replacing it with two really cool retro scooters. As a distant owner, I am not always aware of problems that exist in the unit unless it is brought to my attention. Thank you so much again for choosing our home, we will continue to make it the lovely bungalow on the 1st green so that we can share it with others.
