My Friends and I (6 guys) had a very enjoyable stay at this cottage. Plenty of room and well equipped. It was in October, so it was very quiet. This year round neighbors on both sides were quite pleasant and rarley around making it very peaceful. Plenty of cards were played on the large dining table. And the gas grill we brought sat well on the large deck.
The only drawbacks were lack of game fish in Lake Todd as well as a very small tv room and smaller tv (made it hard to gather round for Red Sox playoffs).
Great lake for canoeing and taking in the folliage. The fire pit burned day and night as it was a great place to sit out on the cool days and nights.
We would return for another stay.........
The owners were also kind enough to let us take our dog, who had a ball as well. Enjoy!

Stress? What stress?

If you need to relax and I mean relax--this is the place! We just returned from a week at this cottage. We are from the Cincinnati, Oh area and our daughter from Columbus, Oh and our son from the University of Mass. joined us. This cottage and the lake were perfect! The lake was large enough to explore, but not so large that you felt overwhelmed. It was full of fish. We saw turtles, loons (what a great way to wake up to their voices) and even an American Eagle ! (He was perched high in a tree on one of the islands for over an hour!) The cottage had everything you needed-a full kitchen with every utensil one could need - right down to a wine opened and storage containers for left overs. The beds were comfortable, the large deck with the most comfortable lounge chairs and overhanging roof allowed one to just chill out for hours. The dock, canoe, and kayak were in constant use. Fishing poles, fire pit and logs, outdoor candles, and beach chairs were all provided. The cottage, yard, and lake front were clean and well maintained and the permanant neighbors were great! Oh and if you have teenagers or young adults the rope swings on one of the islands will be a big hit!

Consider this property if you are looking for a place to really leave the stress of the corporate world behind and rejuvinate yourself and the family. After a 17 hour drive back to Ohio and a week back to the job, I am still mellow! Stress? I forget, what is that?
