Beautiful views right on the beach....Dine on the balcony and take in a gorgeous sunset. This 1285 sq ft condo is an end unit making an immense difference with additional panoramic views and a more open and spacious feel than a regular two bedroom unit. Master bedroom has a king bed, walk-in closet and adjoining bathroom with double sinks. Views are unobstructed from the 30' long balcony which steps out from living room and master bedroom. Second bedroom has a murphy bed and plenty of closet space. WiFi access. Ocean Sands is quiet, secure and very well maintained. The beach trolley system stops right in front of the complex for easy transportation. Famous John's Pass Village is located one-half mile away. Shopping, restaurants and most everything you need is within walking distance. Walk the beach, swim the warm waters of the ocean or pool, enjoy the sunsets...and feel the tension just melt away.

We had a wonderful time at this condo. Mark was very helpful and courteous. This unit had one of the most comfortable beds in the master bedroom. Guaranteed a great time.

great location, needs some updating
Condo was very quiet and within walking distance to groceries. Property owners were pleasant to deal with. We had some issues over the dirt that we found in the kitchen (and elsewhere) when we arrived. The carpets were worn and dirty, furniture was a bit saggy, and the linens were a bit shabby. All this said, we thought the views were great and we enjoyed watching the dolphins every day. One of the best things about staying here was the wonderful heated pool! It would have been nice to be another floor higher up, because the condo below juts out beyond this one, so there is a privacy issue--they could see us, and we could see them when on the balcony. All in all, we would recommend this place to others.

Owner's Response: Sorry to hear about some of the issues you brought up, but in all fairness, overall, this is a beautiful beachfront condo. All of our prior reviews stated that the condo is impeccably clean, and unfortunately, the cleaning service must have done a subpar job that day and I apologize for that.
The furniture is dated and is being replaced this week. Though the carpets are worn in some high-traffic areas, they are clean. Earlier this year, we replaced some of the carpeting with tile and the rest of the carpeting will be replaced by the end of this year.
Our family has owned the condo since 1989 and we never had any issues concerning privacy, so I believe that is a matter of opinion. I am very glad that overall you enjoyed your stay and would recommend our condo to others.

My husband and I just returned from our stay at Ocean Sands.The condo was absolutely perfect..and larger than I imagined.The location is ideal...it is within walking distance to the grocery store and to Johns Pass....and if you want to go shopping [without your husband] the bus stop is directly out front or across the street.The view is spectactular and we saw dolphins on most days.The pool is heated and the hot tub was awesome.I would definitely recommend the condo to family and friends .The owner Mark was very helpful and answered all the emails promptly....absolutely no problems.

A HEAVENLY VACATION
MY FIANCE AND I JUST RETURNED FROM 4 GLORIOUS DAYS AT THE OCEAN SANDS. THE CONDO'S FURNITURE WAS A BIT DATED BUT THE UNIT WAS IMPECCABLY CLEAN. THE OCEAN SANDS IS SO WELL MAINTAINED, SECURE AND THE STAFF (ERICA AND RENEL) EXTREMELY KIND AND HELPFUL. DON'T MISS DOCKSIDE DAVE'S FOR THE BEST FRESH GROUPER. WE TOOK THE BEACH TROLLEY TO CLEARWATER BEACH, GREAT TRIP AND A BARGAIN. THE LARGEST REHABILITATION TO WILDLIFE BIRDS IN THE COUNTRY IS JUST A FEW MILES NORTH IN INDIAN SHORES. IT CARED FOR HUNDREDS OF BIRDS FROM THE BP DISASTER. IT IS FREE BUT ACCEPTS DONATIONS. A DEFINITE MUST TO DO.

This is our first time at Madiera Beach. The Condo has an amazing view and was the perfect size for the three of us. I would deffinately return to this location. We had a few glitches prior to our trip, but the owner was very kind and understanding. The balcony had an amazing view of the Golf. The first morning there we seen dolphins in the golf. It was beautiful. I would deffinately recommend this location.
