This was a great house for our quick weekend getaway! We went with 4 other adult couples to celebrate a few birthdays and there was plenty of room for more. The house was clean, in a very easy to navigate area, and we were able to spread out, or stay close together in this very roomy house. The weather wasn't great, so we hung in the house all weekend, but it was still perfect.
The owner was very easy to work with and we will most certainly be returning to the same place!

All I want to say is the house is perfect for bigger family or group of friends, very spacious with good layout. we had 8 adults and 6 kids stay there for a ski trip, we were all very satisfied, kids also had a good time.

Great place! I've been to many different cabins, and one of the best places. We had 14 guests and the place big enough to accomodate us all without any problems. The owner, Alex is great as well. We had a slight trash problem on the last day, where the township would not let us throw away the trash without a permit (only 1 permit was given with a specific license plate #, but the car had to leave earlier in the morning due to a baby's fever), but Alex allowed us to leave the trash in packed condition for his cleaning people to clean. Alex worked out with us for any additional fees to more than what we expected. Highly recommended!

We had our family vacation last month (July 2010) in this rental. It was fantastic. The house is spacious, Ceiling fans in all rooms are wonderful. The upstairs spa shower was a total hit for everyone. This house is close to community beach and pool plus convenient to all other attractions as well. We will definately come back another time. We all wish we were still there.

I highly recommend this property rental. The house it self is georgus. More than enough space for everyone. The Club House (pool,beach,arcade room,paddle & row boats,fishing ) is easy to get to and really is 5mins away. The food there is great, also reasonable prices. Now back to the house. The shower, what can I say one of a girls best friends! The sauna wit CD system in it, great sound all located in master bedroom. Olny thing I would have like to have was a door on the bedroom. The pool table was great when it got to dark to drive. The kids loved lookin out the windows abd able to see the deers and rabbits playin. Can't say enough good thing about Alex. Responds rapidly to any questions or concerns needed to be answered.

I recently rented this property over Memorial Day weekend for a gathering of old friends. This year, with several couples and now one couple with a baby, we definitely wanted a place that could accommodate everyone comfortably. This house really fit the bill! Not only does it sleep a large number of people, but everyone enjoyed the amenities like the fancy shower, the pool table, and the patio. You do have to drive your trash to a drop-off, which is a slight inconvenience, but not uncommon in this area (just something to keep in mind). Even over a hot weekend, the fans kept things nice and cool. We enjoyed exploring the area, and found farmer's markets, mini-golf, and more. Would recommend to anyone looking to get away in the Poconos with a large group.

I rented this house initially for my boyfriends surprise 30th birthday party. We ended up having 30 people so luckily the owner of this house has another property next door that made it easy to fit us all and stay close. The houses were identical. Well maintained. Clean and spacious. I've read a few reviews that said you need to bring everything with you. Well I did, and I didn't use any of my own stuff. They had toilet paper, cleaning products, detergents and everything else you could imagine. The kitchen was beautiful and very easy to use. They even had dishes, pots, pans, cutlery and anything else you could imagine. My favorite thing about both these houses was that compared to other homes I've rented in the past, ALL the beds were full/queen/king. I'm used to dealing with twin beds and when you come with a large group, it simply wastes space. The rooms were also very large, with plenty of closet space and each room has their own thermostat so everyone can adjust the temperature according to their own needs.

Alex the owner was very easy to work with. I had some special requests of early check-in and late check-out and he agreed to everything without any debate. Overall he was very responsive and very organized.

I would recommend these homes to anyone wanting to get away, in a large or small group, to a nice quiet area. The house is down the street from Jack Frost/Big Boulder and for those who enjoy paintballing, the homes are less than 5 minutes away to Skirmish.

I loved my weekend away at these houses and I definitely plan on returning in the future.

This house has a great layout for multiple families. Alex the owner is very responsive and easy to deal with. The house however is not brand new and could use some TLC. For example, the ceiling fans can't be used because they are so dusty, the wood for the fireplace was wet and there was no kindling. There really is nothing there so you have to bring EVERYTHING which is not ideal for a weekend retreat. Other examples, a dishwasher, but no d/w detergent, a great washer and dryer, but no laundry products, a very minimally stocked kitchen for cooking, that does not even have pot holders, and broken chairs in the dining area. A few little touches like pot holders, soap dishes, a rod and hangers in the downstairs bedroom closets, new chairs around the dining table, and a good thorough cleaning, would go a long way to making this house closer to its potential. The steam shower was amazing but then started leaking alot which was very concerning. Alex again was very responsive about it but it did detract from the weekend stay. Next time I look for a weekend retreat I would prefer one that includes bed linens and towels even if I have to pay a cleaning fee, simply for the convenience.
