Wonderful stay

Our family stayed at the house as a present to our parents for their 40th Anniversary. Seven adults and three children in total. We had a wonderful time. The house was beautiful and the owners were easy to work with. We've talked about going back ever since we left.

Great time over Spring Break

debt free Tulsa, OK
Review Submitted: April 15, 2009 Date of Stay: March 2009
My wife and I just paid off all of our school loans and our completely debt free except for our house. We wanted to spend a week in Estes Park and RMNP celebrating this moment. This house was exceptional. The views breath taking and the location awesome. We were just a few minutes away from almost anything we wanted to do. We did some hiking, snowshoeing, shopping, and relaxing. I would definitely recommend this house and we would love to come back. The description of the house was very accurate. It had everything we needed for a great week of celebration.

a beautiful home away from home, with everything you would need. The home is very private, with the views unbelievable. You are only minutes from downtown and the Rocky National Park. We also enjoy the wild life when we are there-elk, deer and sheep. The home is very clean and well maintained. The hot tub and decks are very private and again the views are great. We also enjoy the town of Estes with all of their activities, restaurants and music. The river walk is very fun also. I would recommend this property.

Beautiful View

SLL Omaha, NE
Review Submitted: March 2, 2009 Date of Stay: February 2009
The last two years we have stayed at Estes Mountain Home. It offers a beautiful view of the mountains. We found the view from our bedroom balcony breath taking. The home is immaculate and well decorated. It provides the convenience of home but yet, the feel of a mountain cabin. The large kitchen supplied ample space for cooking and eating. The hot tub on one of the decks was especially relaxing at the end of a day. We enjoyed touring through Rocky National Park, visiting the Estes Museum and the many quaint shops in downtown Estes. We have enjoyed our stay at Estes Mountain Home the last two years and eagerly await our trip and stay there next year. What a lovely place for a family gathering. The owners were very friendly, helpful, and easy to work with.

Our experience at the Estes Mounain Home

Review Submitted: January 9, 2009 Date of Stay: October 2008
Growing up in Colorado we have made many trips to Estes Park. We would have to say that our experience in this home was the best we have encountered. We were amazed at how clean it was. The views were terrific. Wildlife is abundant around you to enjoy. Being private individuals...we relaxed in the hot tub at any time of the day...without concern about neighbors...due to the location of the House and tub. The tub was clean and not too many chemicals used....so it didn't bother our skin. It was quiet and enjoyable. The kitchen was well supplied (even some unopened extra condiments left behind by others)....we had all the spices we needed to prepare our dinners. The charming bedrooms were, indeed comfortable too!! and again....the view from the upstairs bedroom was wonderful. Everything is close. Shopping, hiking, eating etc...... Certainly not lacking in outdoor activities. The brochure on the table is an excellent way to find your way around Estes. While booking our trip....Linda( and all the people) we spoke to were down to earth and truly concerned about making your stay a great one. We will be back to visit Estes and plan on staying here....feels just like home. We would recommend this house to anyone who wants to feel at home and welcomed.

Perfect!

Our family visited Estes Park in July of 08 and we stayed at the most perfect place possible for us. This Estes Park Mountain Home was exactly what we had been told and more. We were very close to downtown, the hospital, etc. as well as the Y camp where our kids attended during the days. The house was unbelieveable and was decorated very tastefully and I like to describe it as an elegant rustic retreat. The 1300 sq ft of decking was just perfect to observe the beautiful views of Lake Estes and the historic Stanley Hotel, as well as the nature around us. The hot tub was just perfect and our kids thought they were in heaven after a big day at camp. Everything was clean, accomodating and we hope to stay at this beautiful mountain home as often as we can. I highly reccomend this property to anyone looking for the perfect vacation rental home!

The Perfect Place to Stay

Strau012 Racine, WI
Review Submitted: January 6, 2009 Date of Stay: May 2008
I couldn't have been more impressed with Estes Mountain Home. My husband and I rented the house for a week-long honeymoon in the end of May. The house was very clean and well-stocked. The views were fantastic. We loved the hot tub after long days of hiking, fishing, or ATVing. We grilled and ate on the beautiful deck almost everynight. We saw lots of wildlife right near the house. I can't wait for an occasion to rent the home again. I'm trying to talk some friends into having a multi-family vacation together here sometime. I would recommend this house to anyone.

Beautiful and Comfortable Home

MJ D Kansas City, MO
Review Submitted: January 6, 2009 Date of Stay: August 2008
My parents, sister and her family all stayed at the Estes Mountain Home in August 2008. This house is perfect! In addition to having all of the cooking/baking utensils you could think of, they also had plates, straws and other items for the kiddos! This home is as beautiful as the pictures and description describe, but was also very comfortable. My 14 month old son and my 2 year old nephew had a great time in this house, as did my parents. Please note, however that there are quite a few stairs that you have to go down to get to the house from the parking area so if you are on crutches or have bad knees, you need to consider this. It is beautiful, though and we will definitely stay at this home again!

Our BEST vacation yet!!

This rental home in the mountains doesn't feel like a rental. Everything you need to feel right at home is right there. And the views.....spectacular. We didn't want to leave. Rocky Mountain National Park is just minutes away and so is downtown Estes. We are definiately planning a return trip.
