Two friends and I decided to have a play weekend and we did. This beautiful house made us feel welcome as soon as we stepped thru the door. All the amenities you could ask for. No complaints here!!! We grilled and enjoyed the backyard along with the firepit, ate at the great restaurants, and shopped in downtown New Buffallo. Had a relaxing weekend and plan to return soon. Thank you for making our stay so great!!!!!! Bernie, Ellen, and Pat.

My sisters and had a wonderful relaxing stay at the cottage, oh what a cute place you have. We enjoyed the surroundings, the beach especially(during the day and the sunset), mostly we enjoyed the time it gave us to spend time together. I wouldnt hesitate to say I would love to come back and stay. Thank you

Great small cottage for our family

We really liked the location of this cottage. It was very clean, nicely decorated and comfortable. The one problem we had was that the grill did not work because the burner was rusted. We have three little ones and it would have been easier for us if we could have grilled dinner rather than drag them all out when they were tired and crabby.
Owner's Response: We were not aware that the grill did not work, as it was fine for the previous renters. We will certainly fix the problem before the next renters arrive. We are very sorry this occurred, and please know that our phone # is in the cottage to be notified immediately for any problems should they arise. We appreciate any calls so we can fix the problem and make your stay as pleasant as possible.

Perfect Home Away From Home

My husband and I have stayed twice at this property with another couple. I enjoyed the quick walk to the great beach, large shady lawn and fireplace for outdoor time and yard games; and the beautiful kitchen and indoor space for relaxing. The coffee/gourmet shop next door, as well as the full service restaurant were an added bonus.

Affordable with the lake a walk away, FANTASTIC restaurants, Warren Dunes close by, too, lots of neat shops, cozy and immaculate with all new and modern appliances, great "private" big back yard and fun things for kids and adults both. Roadhouse restaurant has fantastic food, and the awesome deli, grocery and unique gift shop (whistle stop??) all at the corner of the street the cottage is on! Only a 5 minute drive and your in New Buffalo! You have to eat at Brewster's, best pizza I have ever had, Casey's, and just ask the waitress at Brewsters where the best restaurants are (I forgot the names!) Extremely nice people everywhere I went. It was a great "get-away" couple days, and the drive is now easier than ever with all the new lanes through I80 by Illinois/Indiana border and Indianapolis Blvd! even during rush hour! There is no reason to drive 4 or 5 hours in a car with or without kids when this wooded area of Union Pier offers nature and beach an hour and 1/2 away from most of the Chicagoland area! The owners are wonderful people as well! the required fields only allowed me to click on one time I have stayed at this cottage, but I have stayed times, once in the spring of 2007, in the summer of 2007, and in the winter of 2008, and plan to go back this summer and definitly in the fall!
