Paradise

Review Submitted: August 26, 2009 Date of Stay: August 2009
This is a perfect stay for Manuel Antonio/Quepos travelers. The place is gorgeous, safe, and accessible. When you walk in, you are surrounded by rain forest and all types of animals, including monkeys, iguanas, and butterflies. The villa is gated in so we felt we and our belongings were safe. It is literally five minutes away from the majority of activities located in the area. My wife and I highly recommend staying here when passing through Manuel Antonio, Costa Rica.

Heavenly Bliss

Casa Chaman is a great place to stay. Agi and Sean are wonderful as well. We stayed here for our honeymoon. LOVED every minute of it. Agi and Sean also gave us helpful advice as to what to do in Manuel Antonio. One of them, was recommending the secluded beach.

One of my favorite places!

Great place to stay and the owners are super nice and helpful! Stayed here with two friends (3 total). One slept on the couch and two in the bed. Location is great as it is in between Manuel Antonio and Quepos so it is a short ride to either town. Hoping to stay here again this June and hang out at the pool with the Titi monkeys and the sloths.

Perfect location to see wildlife

Review Submitted: February 11, 2009 Date of Stay: January 2009
Our 5 day stay at Chaman was most enjoyable, and the band of squirrel monkeys that visited each afternoon was the highlight. It was so much fun to have them right in front of us, in the trees and on the roof. We have outstanding photos! Agi and Sean are great hosts...and the bus and taxi transportation is quick, easy and affordable. This is such a different experience that being in a big, impersonal hotel.

Great Times at Chaman 1

Review Submitted: January 31, 2009 Date of Stay: January 2009
My wife and I just returned from a wonderful vacation in Manuel Antonio. We stayed in Chaman 1, which is the perfect size for a couple. It was scrupulously clean and private, yet anytime we needed anything our gracious hosts, Sean and Agi were there to help. We highly recommend this rental, especially for first time visitors to Costa Rica because Sean and Agi are available for advice. Plus, the bus stops right at the corner and is an easy and inexpensive way to get around since it circles between Manuel Antonio and Quepos, stopping at all the beaches and the National Park. The pool at Chaman is wonderful and it sits right alongside the jungle so you can lounge poolside and see all sorts of wildlife. Chaman is also very private and beautifully landscaped and maintained. There are also restaurants nearby--we had a great breakfast several times at El Mono Azul which is very close to Chaman. We did not have a car and really didn't need one. Overall we highly recommend this lovely jungle getaway. Thanks Sean and Agi and we hope to see you next time we come down.

Breathless!!!

Mosaix Montreal, Canada
Review Submitted: January 30, 2009 Date of Stay: January 2009
It was as advertised and more !!!

Monkey, sloths, iguanas, blue morpho butterfly, hummingbirds, beautiful birds, and all this not in Manual Antonio Park, but right here at the villa!

We had no car, but taxis and buses were cheap and perfect to go to the restaurants, beaches or town.

Highly recommended! Make sure you have at least a week to enjoy all activities in the region.

The first thing you see when you walk through the gate are beautiful gardens and an enticing pool. Location is close to bus stop or easy to grab cabs. Comfy bed. Great hosts.

Holidays at Chaman

Alibama Tuscaloosa, Alabama
Review Submitted: January 6, 2009 Date of Stay: December 2008
My new husband and I stayed at the Chaman 1 Villa over the Christmas holidays and were very pleased with the accommodations. The villa has everything you need: small kitchen, nice living room with tv, large bathroom and ceiling fans. The hosts are extremely helpful in advising you of places to see and things to do. The villa has a great pool and hot tub and the jungle setting is wonderful. And the entire property is gated, which is a nice safety feature. We were able to catch a cab and the local bus easily; a few restaurarants were in walking distance.

Cozy Chaman 1

Review Submitted: December 23, 2008 Date of Stay: December 2008
I recently returned from 7 days at Cozy Chaman 1. I had a wonderful time. Sean & Agi were very gracious hosts. I would definitly return again. The grounds were beautiful and the accommodations were impeccably clean and comfortable. The dining in the area was terrific. The buses and taxis are very affordable so a rental car is nice but not neccessary. The decision to stay here was a slam dunk.
