Great Location

We stayed here with my 20 year old son and his girl friend. We were more than comfortable. The cottage is clean, bright and spacious. We loved the closed-in porch and the spacious master bedroom upstairs. There is an open deck off the master bedroom. Short walk to Scarborough beach - which is a beautiful beach. Check out Spain Resturant we like it a lot. Nice area to bike. The owner, Lou was very nice to work with!

We very much enjoyed our stay at this house in early August. The house is in great condition and it is close to the beach. It is even nicer than the pictures. As an earlier poster said, it feels like you are staying at a friends house rather than a rental. We particularly liked the sunroom and the very short walk to the beach. From the master bedroom, you could feel the cool breezes from the ocean. There are a lot of great things to do in the area. This is a great house for a family with kids.

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Narragansett. We loved the proximity to the beach! The cottage was clean, well-equipt and beds were very comfortable. The neighborhood is quiet. We would highly recommend this property, especially to families.

My family and I stayed at this home next to a great beach in Rhode Island from 7/12/08 - 7/19/08 and we had a great time. There was plenty of room for the 8 of us. It was a short walk to Scarborough Beach, which is family oriented and beautiful. Great food at the snack bar! The house was well kept and in a nice family oriented environment. The back sun porch is a great place to relax and feel the cool ocean breezes. Plenty of room for all to eat and sleep. Very nice upstairs master bedroom with its own bath and balcony with ocean views. Nicely remodeled kitchen and nice enclosed front porch. The outdoor shower was a favorite to all after a day at the beach. Owners are lovely people and very easy to deal with. Check in and out is a breeze with nice neighbor across the street exchanging the keys. Ample parking for 2-3 cars. Many things to do nearby which require short drive. This was our first vacation to Rhode Island and this vacation home made it a positive experience for the whole family. We plan to go back soon!

We stayed in late July with another couple and the set up of the cottage was perfect for two families. We occupied the upstairs bedroom which has its own private bath and deck. The deck affords a great view of the ocean and beach. At night with the windows open you have cooling sea breezes and quiet to keep you comfortable. On the main floor is a screened in porch that allows you to sit in comfort at night . This cottage is well maintained with clean, comfortable furnishing and all the amenities necessary for a great vacation.
The beach is virtually within walking distance and there is no need for a car. There is a small plaza w/gas station within walking distance for those quick item pickups and a shopping plaza a few miles away for groceries etc.

The neighborhood has a very nice and friendly atmosphere and is one that we walked daily.

I would highly recommend this cottage based on it's location, cleanliness and most of all the excellent customer service the owner provided us. They were extremely responsive to all of our needs and even followed up during the week to make sure our stay was going as planned.
