Great Caribbean Vacation without the Hassles

My girlfriends and I (3 ladies of a certain age) loved this beautiful condo looking out at the blue Caribbean. It was centrally located so we could walk to downtown Rincon and to several good restaurants - others were just a short drive - and was just acrossed the street from the beach. The condo was beautifully furnished and had great outdoor spaces - 2 decks and a delightful courtyard with a hot tub. The complex itself had a nice little pool. The only drawback to the condo was a narrow metal spiral staircase that would make it difficult for someone who had difficulty getting up and down stairs to access the top level with the hot tub and bar area. It could also be a problem if you had small children.
The drive from San Juan was not too difficult (about 3 hours) and it was nice to not hassle with passports, different languages (most everyone speaks English) and currency exchange. The prices were reasonable (as opposed to San Juan where everything was outragous) and we all felt that Rincon was a good value.
I would recommend this property to anyone who likes water sports - surfing, snorkeling, diving, fishing, swimming, etc. and who wants a relaxing location without crowds and the hassles of leaving the country.

Love Rincon! Loved this condo!

This was a wonderful little surf town and these facilities were first class! We had some trouble finding it the first day, but when we first drive by the condos, I said out loud, "If they have places like that, then this must be a nice area." Little did I realize that I was referring to the very condo we'd be staying in! The beach across is the street is lovely, although the karaoke bar was quite loud until about 11 pm each night. We found some wonderful little restaurants and quaint shops. We fell in love with Rincon! We highly recommend this penthouse.

Perfect Stay!!!

My family and our friends spent a very relaxing and enjoyable week at this complex. The Penthouse was very clean and very accommodating. The appliances were very modern and all the dishes and cooking utensils were spotless. There were 5 adults and 2 children staying at this penthouse. We had more than adequate living space and and always felt a sense of privacy. The amenities were at the complex were excellent and easily acceptable. The views of the water were awesome, the private jacuzzi a plus. Very secure gated complex. The owner of the condo was very accessible at all times and always went out of his way to make us feel welcome. The owner displayed little touches and amenities in all areas of his unit that reflected class and conscientiouness. I definitely plan to stay at this unit again in the spring of 2013.

Fun, Sun and a Heavenly Vacation

My husband and I spent a week at this Penthouse and our only regret was it was to short. The Penthouse was clean, comfortable and just fantastic! The property itself was well mantained, clean and the owner was very helpful. The photos the owner has provided are extremely accurate and show the place up well. We had complete cooking facilites and ate our breakfast every day on the balcony overloking the blue waters of the Carribean. We happen to love Puerto Rico but anyone who stays here will love it the same way we do. The owner has provided the infofor the people who will assist you in whatever water sports is to your liking. There are plenty of great restaurants to choose from. PuertoRicans are very friendly and they're more than helpful helping you enjoyed your vacation. You'll find most people understand english but a liitle bit of spanish is good too, As far as recommending this place I would not hesitate to send my Mother here and you know how fussy Mother's can be.

We stayed for two weeks, through Easter week. Jose (the owner) was extremely accommodating and his condo is lovely. It is exactly as described and has a stunning view. We plan to come back and would love to stay at David's place again if it is available.

The description of the Penthouse, photos and location were accurate. The property was clean, beautifully decorated, and well maintained. My whole transaction to rent the apartment was over the internet, but the owner is always a phone call away to help answering questions or concerns. I recommend this property to families traveling with children, teenagers or people over 60. My group of 8 consisted of a mix of children, teenagers, adults and adults over 60, and we had a blast. Overall very nice apartment and experience!

My family just returned from a wonderful week in Rincon, Puerto Rico. Our condo overlooked the Rincon Beach. What a spectacular view... with the ocean as a fabulous backdrop! The condo was spacious. It had three bedrooms and accommodated our family as well as a family friend. The condo was beautifully decorated. The kitchen was well appointed and had everything we needed to prepare and serve meals. Rincon "Balneario" Beach was a peaceful, relaxing place to stay. There were pool areas to enjoy, a game room, and above all the wonder of the ocean. is just a short drive to Aguada and Aguadilla Beach. We visited both of these cities during our stay. Mayaguez is a longer drive, but we were up for a day trip and enjoyed a fantastic day there, as well. Staying at Rincon Beach gave us the opportunity to customize our own vacation. It can be as relaxing or adventurous as you wish. We would highly recommend Rincon Beach as a vacation destination.

Luxurious island get away!!!

We had the most wonderful stay at this fantastic Penthouse . The Penthouse itself is perfectly appointed for a luxurious island get away, complete with a great pool, outdoor and indoor dining areas, Wi-fi and flat screen TVs throughout the Penthouse. The location is ideal , including the water sports, bakery and restaurants. Top rate vacation - we highly recommend it!

“Paradise within the Paradise!”

By the Sea Penthouse is the best place to stay at Rincon!!! Excellent facilities! I give it 5 stars. We were 9 in the group and no one has a complaint about it. Everything is close and easy to find, so we decided to get the groceries at one of stores in Rincon. Then, when we arrived everything was clean and neat. We just brought the groceries and our swimsuit, placed our bags in the rooms...and our vacations started right away. That same day we went to the "balneario".... During those days we also went to Playa Maria's. There is no need to go anywhere else during the night since the penthouse is so fun to be in. The "terraza" , the BBQ area, the foosball table...every corner of the Penthouse invites to stay and enjoy. All equipments worked perfectly so we decided to cook for breakfast and dinner every day. It was simply a blast! I will definitely recommend anyone to stay here... No doubt about it! After this experience we have decided to come back. We are already planning our next year's summer vacations and it will definitely be at By the Sea Penthouse! Congratulations to the owners for keeping this property so well cared. We'll be back to "the paradise within the paradise"!

I stayed at By the Sea Penthouse for 4 nights I wished to stayed longer, this people are so good and the area is so nice that they did not had anymore nights available, planning to stay longer next year because I am going back. The service was great, the location, the penthouse is fully equipped with everything and anything you can imagine. I love the fact that I had everything close to the penthouse even the water sports, we went to do the banana boat and it was the best. Alexis's and his team are great and affortable they even give you discount when you rent with Jose. We feel like we belong to this town!!! Thank you everybody!!! We will see you next year!!!
