The suite is a bright and spacious sub-penthouse apartment located on the 10th floor of The Corazon, a concrete and steel building located in downtown Victoria.
This non-smoking, two-bedroom, southwest-facing apartment, has spectacular, unobstructed views across Victoria’s downtown area and beyond to the Upper Harbour, the Inner Harbour as well as the Olympic and Cascade Mountains. The sunrise and sunset views are breathtaking.
We know that even little, extra costs can add up, so our rates have taken into consideration some of the hidden costs that might be overlooked by our guests, such as stocking your newly arrived at rental with various supplies. For this reason, we stock our condos with lots of 'extras' that many other vacation rentals do not offer, such as; paper goods, trash bags, foil, plastic wrap, hand soaps, laundry softener and detergent, dish soap, a nice selection of spices, coffee, tea, sugar and many other essential every-day items that you would normally need to purchase on your own.
We also provide the convenience and cost-savings of unlimited local and long-distance telephone calls anywhere in N. America as well as secure, high speed Wi-Fi Internet, cable TV and free underground parking.
The City Skyline Suite offers more than you can imagine. A gas fireplace warms the living room in winter and a gas convection oven and Jamie Oliver cookware, make cooking a breeze in the gourmet kitchen, which is also equipped with a full size stainless steel fridge, dishwasher and microwave oven, coffee maker, tea kettle and more.
The large south and west-facing windows create a bright and livable environment and the south-facing balcony calls you to relax in the sunshine, while drinking-in the amazing views.
One, underground parking spot is provided, in a double gated parking garage.
Located one block from Victoria's City Hall, it is an easy two block walk west to Victoria's Chinatown and Old Town Victoria. As well, the location, which is 1/2 block off Victoria's main street, (Douglas Street) means that the apartment is close to all shopping, restaurants and other amenities.
Two blocks north east of The Corazon building you'll find Save On Foods Memorial Arena, home to the Victoria Royals Hockey team and venue for live concert acts. 1 block north, in the Hudson Building, the new Victoria Public Market will be opening for business at the beginning of April 2013, so shopping for foodstuff will offer lots of local, organic fruits and vegetables and other products.
As in any city, there are homeless people and drug users all around the downtown area. However, downtown Victoria is generally a safe place to be.
To ensure your comfort, we always meet you upon arrival, no matter the time of day or night, to make sure that your check-in goes smoothly and that you are comfortably settled in to the apartment.
As we live close-by we are available 24-7 to take care of your needs and always do our very best to be of service to each and every one of our guests.
We also provide you with a 'starter pack' of breakfast items so that you can relax and enjoy your first morning without having to rush out to shop for groceries.
Grocery supermarket shopping is just a few blocks (5-10 min walk) from the apartment at The Market on Yates, there is a 24-7 Convenience store just 2 blocks away, a wine, beer & liquor store just 2 blocks away, several banks within just a few blocks, a pharmacy just 4 blocks away and a walk-in medical clinic just 5-10 minutes walk.
All in all, this is a wonderful, convenient and comfortable apartment and we are confident that you will enjoy staying in it.

South facing views. Sunshine all day long and amazing sunrises to the east and sunsets to the west.
On clear days the snow-capped Olympic Mountains are absolutely spectacular.
