Wonderful Vacation

Springfield MO Springfield, MO USA
Review Submitted: July 23, 2009 Date of Stay: July 2009
When looking at the photos of this property we knew that it was going to be great. That was an understatement. The townhouse was fabulous and more than we expected. The entire place was clean, neat, and very well decorated. Our 3 and 5 year old's had such a great time in the shallow water without fear of big waves. Very friendly neighbors who offered all kinds of recommendations on local attractions and restaurants. I would highly recommend staying here to anyone.

We really loved this townhouse. It was secluded, yet close to the beach and all the local attractions. There were lots of good places to eat. I was able to recharge my batteries. We really hope to return soon!

February 28th to April 4th, 2009 "OUR BEST FLORIDA VACATION EVER". We cannot tell you how much we enjoyed your townhouse. We have been coming to Perdido Key for the past 12 years and this has been by far the nicest, cleanest, well decorated, gorgeous view of any place we have rented. Having the beach on Perdido Bay and the pool only a two minute walk was great when the grand kids visited. Within ten minutes, you have the Gulf Beaches, Naval Museum, great restaurants, fresh fish and all the shopping you could want. We enjoyed our stay so much we have already booked two months for 2010.

Thanks Kelli for arranging the great weather !!!

Great place for a family!

Just moved Pensacola, Florida

We rented for what ended up being 2 months. I was moving my family to Pensacola from across country (Military). I needed a place to stay while I house hunted and purchased a home. Since I knew it was going to be at least a month I wanted some place nice for the family to stay, that was not a hotel environment. We were absolutley shocked on how nice the townhome is! It comes with everything you need, the only thing you need to bring is clothes! My two boys fell in love with the beach and were in the water every possible moment they could be! The water is safe and shallow, we all had fun spending time looking for sea shells, hermit crabs, etc. The pool on the property is nice as well. We have made quite a few friends staying there with the local residents that are on the property permanently and still keep in touch with them. The lanai's over look the water and it was great waking up every morning to the sunrise vice an annoying alarm clock! Also it was very nice to be able to bring our pets, we have a small dog and cat. For our dog, there are areas to walk your pet for them to potty, and the property provides clean up bags and disposal cans. Our cat spent most of the time laying out on the lanai! You are minutes from Johnson Beach and some great local resturaunts. Walmart and Target (opening soon) is close also for all your needs. Kelli (owner) was great in accomadating any of our needs, she communicates quickly and effectively. Our move to Florida was very smooth largely in part because of this place! I would recommend this to anyone for a weekend visit or an extended stay. Great for families, or couples!

This was the perfect relaxing week we needed after spending three weeks with family. The town home is fully stocked with everything you need to "live." Just bring food. My husband and I enjoyed walking with our lab all through out the island. I did not want to leave. I will definitely be back.

I was going to perform a wedding at the Naval Air Station in Pensacola, so my family and I decided to make a week of it while on the Gulf Coast. Our stay was wonderful, the townhouse suited my family well - My wife and I, our three teenage boys, and our three, and our dogs. We didn't have the crashing waves, but it was nice wakeing up in the morning and looking out over the bay. The bay is not great for swimming, you can walk out for two hundred yards and only be waist deep, but twice I seen dolphins swimming not yards from the shore. It is peaceful and quite; just a great place to get away and relax, but not far from the fun and excitement. We all had a great time.

My husband and I were looking for a peaceful retreat, away from the crowds, yet near the beach. We had hoped to find something on the water too. Almost too much to hope for - I thought. This property had EVERYTHING we were looking for, privacy, luxurious quality accommodations, a gorgeous view of the sunrise from the bedroom balcony, a full kitchen, washer and dryer, etc. We enjoyed romantic meals on the balcony daily. Winn-Dixie (a grocery store nearby) had a wonderful breaded Lemon Garlic Tilapia that I just had to pop in the oven. It was nice not having to eat out all the time, but we did try a couple of places. Lillians Pizza was outstanding, however; we did not care for The Original Point Restaurant (a local favorite). Johnson Beach State Park is a must if your looking for a well maintained less crowded beach. The admission fee of $8. is good for a whole week. The Naval Air Station Museum was worth going to and free!! You can see the Blue Angels practice on Tue. and Wed. mornings from 8:30 - 9:30. We were thrilled with our vacation! If you are looking for a party atmosphere or wild night life this is not it.

Our family LOVED our long weekend here! It was a
nice, young-family place (although I'd recommend
bringing a baby-gate) b/c of the bay, etc., but would
be good for anyone looking for a quiet, peaceful get-
away Beautiful townhouse; everything we needed and
more! No complaints. :)

I stayed at this town home in January for a short "girl's get-away". The location is great, it's peaceful and relaxing, and there are also fun things to do in the area when you want excitement and nice restaurants to go out to dinner. You can hit touristy type places or cool local joints. The townhouse is wonderful, as it states in the ad, it is literally "on the water", as you cook a cozy dinner on your vacation, you can look out over the water from the kitchen, then eat your dinner on the balcony, while still gazing at the water and if you plan it right, a sunset. The townhouse is beautifully decorated, unique and modern, yet warm and inviting. The furnishings are high quality and comfortable. The kitchen is equipped with more small appliances, dishes, glasses etc, than I have at home! I really can't say enough about the amenities. Since I enjoyed it so much in January, I am returning with my family for a week in June.
