Felt Like Home

Captjob Southern California
Review Submitted: January 19, 2009 Date of Stay: December 2008
We stayed in this beautiful home for two weeks over New Years to enjoy a real New England Winter getaway. Traveling from Southern California we wanted to experience a “real“ winter and this location did not disappoint. Located just minutes from some of the best ski resorts and activities in the state, we took advantage of all the area had to offer only minutes from this home.

We found the home to be very well supplied and modernized for a great prolonged (or short) vacation stay. Robin has truly thought of everything. From the gift basket and Snowman supplies to the updated and modern furniture….it couldn’t have been more comfortable. The beds were amazing. My three kids loved playing in the basement (pool table, ping-pong, games, TV etc) not to mention the tubing and sledding they took advantage of.

My family has travelled all over the country and several times to New Hampshire and always rented a vacation home. I can honestly say we have finally found a home to come back to. No other rental compares to this experience. Great Job. We will be back!
Owner's Response: When your on vacation you are ready to relax, unwind and have fun!
Part of that requires extra amenities...like sleds, kayaks, bikes, lawn chairs, floats, grill etc. Many of those items are too large to pack on your trip. I try to supply those items to make your vacation complete!

This was not our first trip to the Bethlehem area. Our son and daughter-in-law live in Littleton, which was close by. We have stayed in various other homes and hotels in the area and this was the nicest place we have had the pleasure of staying in. My elderly parents were with us and they had no trouble getting around the place.
This home is just beautiful inside! Full bath with every bedroom. Nice view. Big yard with plenty of parking. Many extra's included with house; pool table, ping pong table, sleds, bikes, internet, etc.
Bethlehem is centrally located, just a couple of miles off of I 93, for easy day trips to the White Mountains. While we were there we visited the Mount Washington Hotel which is just fabulous!
We were in Bethlehem to see a play at the Theater in Bethlehem and we were within walking distance to 'downtown' Bethlehem.
We definitely recommend this home to anyone visiting the area. Hopefully we can rent it again and bring some friends up to visit the area.
Owner's Response: Thanks Skip and Janet for choosing our Bethlehem Craftsman Home!
I agree, one of the special qualities of this house is that each bedroom has it's own private full bath. Perfect for three couples or a family. I'm glad you've found a new place to call home when visiting New Hampshire.
Best, Robin

A Splendid Getaway

Chris from Rochester Rochester, NY
Review Submitted: October 30, 2009 Date of Stay: August 2009
We spent a delightful week at this house in August 2009 and could hardly have been happier. Of all the homes we've rented over the years, this was certainly the nicest in terms how well it was furnished--right down to the smallest details of kitchen supplies. Rocking on the porch and admiring the view, enjoying a couple DVDs, strolling into "downtown" Bethlehem for an ice cream cone--each evening offered a relaxing and enjoyable option. This made an ideal base for our daytrips around the White Mountains and into Vermont. We recommend it highly and will look forward to an occasion to return again. A bonus was that everything is located on a single floor--so no stairs to bother with.
Owner's Response: Thanks couple from Rochester, New York,

Bethlehem is a wonderful central location for day trips to sights all around the White Mountains and Eastern Vt., minutes to the highway and conveniences yet back in time in an old village setting.

Please come again!

Fantastic House

Guernsey Donkeys Guernsey, UK
Review Submitted: July 8, 2009 Date of Stay: June 2009
We are from England and wanted a home from home place to stay. When we arrived at the house, the gardens alone impressed us. The moment we opened the door we fell in love with the house. Our bedrooms were luxury, with very comfortable beds also fluffy towels in our bathrooms. The whole house was extremely well equipped and spotlessly clean. We thought a week here isn't enough time to actually enjoy the house. Bethlehem is a very quaint town with lovely antique shops and a couple of nice restaurants. 5 Minutes down the road is a bigger town, Littleton for big supermarket shopping. We loved our holiday even more due to the HOUSE. We are going to definately recommend this house to all our friends.
Hayley, Guernsey, Channel Islands, UK
Owner's Response: Thank you Hayley for the compliments! The gardens at our Bethlehem rental are amazing. The lush setting in the country soothes the soul and recharges the batteries! We hope you'll come back again.

We stayed in this house for 10 days in July with 3 very young kids and had a great time and managed to rest, which is a challenge with them even in such a peaceful setting. This is actually because everything has been carefully designed to be confortable and practical, as well as elegant. We feel that previous reviews have been quite exhaustive (well-stocked, great kitchen, crib, ...) and do not have much to add in praise of this property. Yet, I have to mention the amazingly welcoming sofas that I miss to this day!
Owner's Response: Comfortable furniture is of the utmost importance in a luxury rental.
It needs to feel like home or better! You come to relax and unwind.

I would love to be selfish and try to keep this gem a secret, but that wouldn’t be fair to Robin, our wonderful host. This house is just wonderful-clean, nicely decorated, and filled with everything you need on vacation from internet access to an extra toaster. I can’t say enough about this wonderful vacation home.
Owner's Response: It is my goal to continue to add new amenities and offer great service in order to satisfy and build a wonderful cliental.
Enjoy! Robin

We enjoyed a perfect weekend in this absolutely lovely, immaculate house. We felt welcome and comfortable from the moment we opened the door! The hosts have thoght of everything that can add to a great vacation experience for guests of all ages. Fully stocked kitchen & fridge, beautiful linens, plush towels, bikes in the shed in an inviting yard. Ping pong table, pool table, flat screen TV, comfy leather sofas, games, etc etc for rainy days, but in nice weather this is a beautiful part of the world to explore.
Would definitely recommend, would love to return!

Priya and Gaurav Boston, MA
Review Submitted: June 15, 2008 Date of Stay: May 2008
We had a wonderful vacation at this home, which was a perfect place for a weekend get-away with eight friends. The place was beautiful, very clean, and comfortable, with the modern conveniences of three bathrooms, a fully-equipped kitchen, flat-screen tv, gas grill, ping pong table and pool table. Robin was extremely helpful and provided lots of information about the area. The Welcome Basket was a great touch that made us feel at home. We would definitely recommend this place to friends and family, and hope to visit again!
Owner's Response: After many years of staying in hotels, it's been fun creating a place that friends and families can be together with space, comfort and conveniences...So they can enjoy, relax and have fun!
Best! Robin

Great newly renovated house, amazing amenities!

Review Submitted: May 27, 2008 Date of Stay: May 2008
Well-renovated and appointed house. So nice to have a bathroom dedicated to each bedroom, making this house perfect for 3 couples or more. Top notch appliances in the kitchen, great furnishings throughout, even a welcome snacks gift package(!) -- making the place feel more like a comfy hotel than a rental house per se.

Basement has fun games too, such as a ping pong table and pool table. In the summer, the backyard can be a great spot to lounge.

Would highly recommend. Located conveniently near a surprisingly well-stocked general store too, about 1/3 mile away.
Owner's Response: It is our goal to offer a vacation rental that is unique in the abundance of amenities that it has to offer. To create an atmosphere of warmth and character encouraging the desire to come back again and again!
