Perfect Mountain Getaway

Mabrac Palm Beach Gardens,FL
Review Submitted: September 22, 2009 Date of Stay: August 2009
This charming cottage felt like home in every sense of the word. It was just far enough away from downtown Asheville to easily access all the great activities and major routes in and out of this spectular city and yet you were surrounded by the beautiful Blue Ridge mountains with all the appeals of being in the country.
Our hosts were very accomodating and gracious. We loved our stay of two weeks and wished it could have been longer.

Cozy modern comfort

Josh was extremely prompt at responding to all inquiries. This home is very comfortable and the heat in all the different rooms and zones worked extremely well. The beds and very soft blankets were wonderful to sleep in. We came with 2 children, ages 3 and 1, and this place was perfect for us (we did bring our own porta-crib, high-chair and sound machine to block noise for the infant when he slept). We liked the quality of the furnishings - a touch of modernism in a round house overlooking the mountain treetops. The home is extremely close and convenient to downtown Asheville, The Biltmore Estate and The Grove Park Inn - which we visited over the Christmas holidays - and was easy to come back to for day-time naps. We hope to come back soon.

Away but not far!

We had a great visit! Perfect for 2 couples or less. This place gives you a mountain setting just 5 minutes to town. It had everything we needed. The shower was interesting but make them fast. We ran out of hot water.

I can't wait for our next visit to Asheville. We will definitely stay here again!

Peace,
Alie

The bungalow was beautiful, everything was new and clean and the view was great. There is just enough room with out being too much. The bed was comfortable and I loved the white down comforters. We slept so soundly - it was so quiet! The location is absolutely perfect close to downtown, the mall, the parkway, Biltmore. Josh was very helpful. We will be back!

I must recommend Reza's Mediteranean restaurant in Biltmore Village it was affordable, the service was great and the food was absolutely amazing.

I cant say enough good things about this place. The furnishings are all comfortable and clean. The beds were soft and the 400 thread count sheets great. The location is perfect and only 10 minutes from downtown but still private and partially secluded. Your surrounded by lush forest and pleasant aromas. The nights are quiet and the mountain nights are so deep and dark its amazing. Josh was welcoming and a great person to rent from. Were definitely coming back here on our next vacation!

Lovely cabin just minutes from Asheville

Review Submitted: October 14, 2008 Date of Stay: October 2008
Review from October 08 stay.

If you want a quiet cabin in the woods, but also want quick access to downtown Asheville, then this is the place for you. Only 2 miles from the city, but you would never know it. Tastefully decorated, new fixtures, beautiful wood floors. All for much less than the price of a modest hotel room in the area. Why deal with the noise of a hotel when you can have your own cabin?

Cheers,
George
