Perfect Place

Three friends and me visited L.A.`s Music-nightlife and other highlights.This is the perfect location to Sunset and Hollywood Blvd. You feel like home and Jackie and Dave were very helpfull with area infos and especially with phonecalls after our carcrash. Thanks again. A lot of brochures, maps and other infomaterial were always in the livingroom. We recommend this Hollywood Home for families or friends, to discover Southern California, it`s the perfect place.
Owner's Response: Dave and I enjoy our rental guests. It's neat to have visitors from other countries. It gives us a chance to share our Hollywood home and to pass on our knowledge of Los Angeles.

My husband and good friends had a wonderful time staying at Gillett House. The location couldn't be better, and the apartment was immaculate. Jackie and Dave added so many personal touches that made the stay special - lots of guides, maps, coupons, and historical information were provided. And I highly recommend the 101 Cafe around the corner - yum. The price of the accommodation was quite fair, and Dave and Jackie were very accommodating. I would be pleased to stay at Gillett House if I am in the Los Angeles area again.

Location, Location, Location!!
Wonderful spacious, airconditioned apartment central to everything in Hollywood .. walk to the Walk of Fame on Hollywood Blvd, Kodak Theatre, Hollywood & Highland Shops .. Apartment is very clean, contains everything you will need for your vacation ...great for families... just like being in your own home. Hosts, Dave & Jackie are very friendly, knowledgeable and only too happy to assist with anything you could need for your vacation.
Great hosts, great apartment, great location.
We will be back on our next visit !

Ideal base

We rented this property as a base to explore the Hollywood area and to visit Universal Studios. The few days we spent were in the middle of a busy tour of California and Nevada and the apartment was a welcome break from hotels.
It was clean and very comfortable and ideal for our family.
The owner gave us plenty of information about the area regarding shopping and eating and we really appreciated the maps and tour guides that were left for renters to use.
So many places that we had only seen in the movies are very close to the apartment and Universal Studios is just minutes away.
We will definitely recommend it to any friends that may be visiting the area and thank you for making us feel so welcome.

Fresh and clean, spacious, bright and homey - perfect for our family of seven. This is a gem in the middle of Hollywood. We highly recommend this place for an LA vacation.

Wonderful house! Our family of 5 had plenty of room and were very comfortable. The house is in a nice neighborhood, and is walking distance to a LOT of things to see and do. The owners are really friendly and helpful. There wasn't a thing that was missing. We'll definitly stay here again if we ever visit the LA area.

Had a great time, plenty of space in the house and all the amenities needed. Especially loved all the guidebooks, magazines and menus for take out, they really came in handy. The owners were also available for any questions and knew the area really well and had great ideas for eating and sightseeing. If we ever go back to LA, will stay there again!!
