Expectations exceeded

Review Submitted: November 17, 2009 Date of Stay: October 2009
There is not much to say as we have made the same experience as everyone else. We were looking for a nice quiet place to relax and enjoy the Florida sun and that's what we've found. This place is spacious, clean, well maintained, and equipped with everything you would ever need. Our kids enjoyed the pool, and a beautiful beach is just a few minutes away.
Rob, thanks for everything. We will definitely be visiting again! Highly recommended!

A Perfect Get-Away

Hawaiian Chicken San Francisco, CA
Review Submitted: September 4, 2009 Date of Stay: July 2008
We had a spectacular experience there at Breezeway Villa. The neighborhood is quiet and safe and a mile or so off the main road. The property is beautiful and the house is right on the ocean, separated only by the pool, some natural landscaping and the dock. The house itself seems newly built and everything (AC, appliances, lights, internet, pool, TVs, music, etc) functioned perfectly - what a relief not to have any worries! The place is impeccably finished, very clean, very well maintained and had everything we needed to move right in and enjoy our time away.

We went to a few of the local establishments and all were excellent. We went to Boondocks for some $.39 steamed clams, Parrotdise for AMAZING seared tuna and picked up some local catch of the day from the nearby marina to cook on the grill.

The house is about a half hour (very scenic) drive from Key West where there are lots of shops, restaurants, street vendors, and interesting people to watch ;) And you can't miss the scene at Mallory square - the southern most point in the US - complete with street performers, unique crafts, and the most incredible sunset ever!

The owner/management company was very attentive and checked in periodically to make sure everything was to our satisfaction and to answer any questions we had about the property an the area.

We very much enjoyed our time there and would recommend this property to anyone looking for a hassle-free home away from home experience.

A Relaxing Getaway...

Wicket Kennett Square, PA
Review Submitted: September 3, 2009 Date of Stay: May 2009
When I considered taking my family on vacation this year, I knew I wanted to find a destination with nice weather, a relaxing environment (but had things to do if we wanted) and a house to stay in as opposed to a hotel. With that being said, I spoke with the owner of this property and he was a great person to deal with. He really seemed to care about us having a nice time so he tried to provide as much information as possible over the phone...I really appreciated that! The home was like brand new and was very clean. The kitchen was great and equipped with everything we needed. We felt the views were beautiful from the house. The pool was very nice and just enough for the time we spent using it. (There were lounge chairs and rafts to lay on in the pool) We went fishing off the dock a few times (day and night) and we almost caught a few monster fish...I lost a big one! What I liked is that everything we needed was at the house and all we had to bring was our clothes. It was very quiet and private and rarely saw any of the neighbors. There were two boat slips there and since we didn't have a boat, we rented one about a mile away... it was pretty easy to do. We drove into Key West 2 days and it was a very short trip. We were able to experience what Key West had to offer... tourism, art, outdoor entertainment, raw oysters, bar life, etc and drove home with fresh fish both nights that was unique to the Key West Island. We cooked mostly on the outside grill every night which was nice and easy. (Note: You can get fresh fish locally and the best Key Lime Pie all down the street from the house which we did almost every night. We went to a few restaurants right on the island and one had putt-putt golf next to it... something we hadn't done in a while. I hadn't done a lot of snorkling but what I know of snorkling, it was great. All in all, it was a nice place to visit and for us, staying at the house was the best part of our visit... just soo relaxing which is what we were looking for! We will definitely be visiting again and would recommend it to anyone interested in Florida weather!

Luxurious Tropical Paradise

Nature Fanatic Wilmington, De, USA
Review Submitted: August 6, 2009 Date of Stay: April 2008
My family stayed here in April 2008 and we loved it. We can't wait to go
back, it is the best vacation we ever had. The kitchen and bathrooms and floors are top notch quality and the owners decorated with exquisite taste.
The house was in immaculate condition. The pool and dock with night lighting were
a pleasant extra, we loved seeing the tarpon come up to the dock at night. The location is great, close to Key West, Bahia Honda beach,
Boondocks restaurant and mini golf, Florida Keys Turtle Hospital and other wonderful excursions. The view of the Atlantic from the screened in porch was a great way to wake up for breakfast each morning. Also a plus was the great neighbors, always pleasant and quiet. A vacation to this house has something to please everyone even families with children. My kids can't say enough wonderful things about their trip here. We even rented a boat which we could tie up to
the dock for several days and enjoyed seeing amazing ocean creatures up close, something we will never forget.

Paradise Found

Tibby Wilmington, Delaware
Review Submitted: July 18, 2009 Date of Stay: April 2009
The Villa is beautifully furnished in a West Indies theme. The pictures don’t do the home justice! There were high ceilings with paddle fans, open kitchen to the dining area/living room, and more. The house is like brand new! We were all impressed with how clean it was.

Spending the day at the heated pool with the ocean breeze and views was like being in paradise. Sit on the screened-in porch and take in breathtaking views of the coastline and nature preserve. The location is convenient to anything you’ll want with boat access to the bay and ocean.

Watch the boats go by – it sucks the stress right out of you. This home sits at the end of the island and is very private on a quiet cul-de-sac. It is a great location for children and adults of any age.

Catch all types of fish from your own private dock or take where you can put you own boat. Enjoy world-class fishing, snorkeling at Looe Key, or some awesome boat rides. The neighboring dock has underwater lights so you can see the fish(I loved this). It is like an aquarium in your back yard with fish of all types including some good sized tarpon.

There was plenty of privacy, several nice restaurants right around the corner as well as an unbelievable putt-putt golf course for the family. The drive to Key West was about 30 minutes and there is a lot to do for everyone. The sunset festival is great!

We will definitely be coming back again next year and will highly recommend it to anyone who wants a quiet get-away in paradise. It is truly like staying at your own private resort! It is a great place to relax, entertain, or even log-on to get some things done if you want!

I cannot say enough about this vacation home. It like a piece a heaven.

Fishing and Family Vacation

Tarpon Cobh, Co. Cork, Ireland
Review Submitted: May 12, 2009 Date of Stay: April 2009
"My family and I found this villa while searching the internet and decided to rent it. What a great idea that turned out to be. The villa is well furnished and well maintained with a swimming pool for lazy days. Rob was only a phone call away to answer any questions that we had. One of the best assets of the villa is its 40ft dock at the bottom of the garden. Great fishing was had at dawn or dusk and even into the night. Large Snapper, Barracuda, Tarpon and Nurse Sharks were some of the fish caught from the dock. If you fancy a bit of Backcountry Flats Fishing go no further than Capt. Dave Wiley on West Indies Drive, a 2 minute walk from the Villa, (305)872-4680. A great guide and a very nice guy. The only problem that we all had with Breezeswept Villa is the fact we had to leave. We will be returning to this villa in the near future. "

Life of Luxury

Theresa Ann Lisle, Illinois
Review Submitted: May 6, 2008 Date of Stay: January 2008
We were one of the first renters at this island home. As with anything new, there were a few "bugs" to be worked-out. Rob immediately took care of everything quickly & was always concerned that we enjoy our stay. He didn't have to worry about that!! The decorating, location & amenities were all wonderful. And the view was fabulous! There is a wonderful spacious screened porch where we enjoyed most of our meals, reading & watching the sun rise over the ocean. The pool was refreshing & impeccably clean.
One unexpected benefit was meeting the friendly neighbors. They welcomed us with open arms -- inviting us to their get-togethers, even a Super Bowl party.
Thank you, Rob! We hope to return to you lovely home!
