This was a great place. The city was outstanding, and the condo was gorgeous, and well kept up. We were central to a lot of things that we did, and it was very convenient. Absolutely loved the place!!

THE BEST FAMILY VACATION EVER!!!!!

My husband and I stayed here with our four children ages 1, 7, 12 & 16. This apartment was fabulous indeed! We were close to everything and the views are truly amazing! Wanda was awesome she helped us with restaurants, sites, etc! Our flight home was delayed and she contacted us immediately to help us out with anything we may have needed. I truly recommend this beautiful apartment to anyone who wants to be in Old San Juan with great restaurants, bars, music, shops & so much more! The apartment is spacious, with beautiful art work and we adored opening the shutters during the morning and evening times. We took walks in the area during the evening and it was just the best place to be! We are actually planning on booking a return for August to celebrate my husband's birthday at this same apartment! We look forward to seeing to staying with you in August again!!!
Owner's Response: Thank you, Doris.
It was a pleasure hosting you and we will be glad to welcome you and your family soon again.

Good House Share for Close Friends

My friends and I stayed here for 4 nights and had a wonderful time. We were a party of 6 girls and all slept comfortably during our stay. The apartment was very clean and came with a fully stocked kitchen! Puerto Rico gets pretty hot and there was an air conditioner in each room plus a fan in the living room. Closet space and a pretty view and neat layout!

The apartment is close to the water, but isn't a beach. The best nearby beaches are in Condado and Ocean Park which are either a quick taxi or 30 minutes bus ride away. The apartment is SUPER close to the historic fort on the tip of San Juan and within walking distance of a lot of food, night life, and shopping.

We had a great time and enjoyed staying here. Irma was especially friendly and helpful too. Wonderful experience RICO 2012!!!!!!

Annett and Andres,

Thank you very much for the great service. You can gladly use a review from me.

Vida Urbana and the wonderful apartment at 59 San Justo met every expectation and more. The high ceilings with numerous windows opening up into the internal patio and onto the quiet street of San Justo gave fresh air and warm breezes throughout the apartment. We only had two people staying there, but it can comfortably sleep 6 with plenty of space. We loved the location at the top of Old San Juan, far away from the crowds on Forteleza but close enough to the walk to the Morro and many fine places to dine, drink and enjoy coffee. Wanda, who met us with the keys in the beginning and checked us out at the end was very attentive and helpful. When we had trouble getting on to the wi-fi in the apartment, she called quickly with the correct passcode. All in all, we would definitely go again and rent from Vida Urbana!

My wife and I rented this apartment for an entire month - WOW, it exceeded my expectations in every way. We also have 3 little girls ages 10, 8, and 4. They can't wait to go back. We live in New York City and travel quite a bit, we've done Disney, beaches, camping, etc... My wife and I have also stayed in the Ritz-Carlton in San Juan, so we know what's out there. This place gave us access to all that we came to Puerto Rico to experience, and was so relaxing to come home to at the end of each day. Anna was amazing - we had one small issue with the laundry facility and she immediately responded, in person - problem solved. This location is in a great area of Old San Juan - close to everything, but a block or two from late night noise. I slept like a baby every night.
My family and I can't wait to return. I should have posted this much sooner, it was so great - I just let time slip away. If you are unsure about renting a place sight unseen - you will have no worries with this place.

Great accommodations for the price

This was a wonderful find that we booked just a week in advance after deciding to drop previous hotel reservations, and we were glad we did. You can stay in a hotel anywhere in the world an have a good but generic stay; this location really allowed us to enjoy Old San Juan for what it is. The three bedrooms were all plenty spacious, the kitchen well-kept and certainly capable for our week of cooking, the 20-foot ceilings and numerous windows all allowed for a great tropical feel with constant breezes. AC and DirectTV and wifi and worked very well. Artwork in the place is great and really gives the place a genuine feel.

Our group was three guys, and the three bedrooms were MUCH better than splitting one hotel room or paying double or triple to have our own rooms. This place was less than a single luxury hotel room, let alone two or three.

It's all residential for 1-2 blocks in any direction, which means nice and quiet, but restaurants, Walgreen's, shopping market, and much more are just 3 blocks away. Bars of San Sebastien street just maybe 4-5 blocks down. Great walking distance to anything in Old San Juan, including the two forts (definitely pay the $3 to tour el Morro) and the waterfront pier area. Parking is difficult only because of the size of the streets, but no more difficult than NYC for sure. Taxi to/from airport is $19, to Condado about $12, to Isla Verde $16-$20.

As a side note, we also took a 2 day trip to Culebra, the island off the east coast of PR, and it was a great time. Remote beaches, truly a charming island where we rented a golf cart to get around. To get there we rented a car and drove to Farajdo, where the 1.5 hour ferry is only $2.25 each way. The car rental was $50, and allowed us to visit the rainforest on the way.

All in all, a very nice trip and a wonderful place to stay.

I had an ABSOLUTELY amazing stay here! Anna was a great help and a lifesaver on one occasion!! The accomodations were great, and the location... TO DIE FOR!!! Just a short walk to anything... food, grocery, night life, etc... Great vaulted cielings and very, very spacious living arrangements. I very much enjoyed the celebrations (New Years and Tres Reyes) I hope to come enjoy this property again soon! Thank you again, Anna for all your help!

David

Our July 2009 stay

The apartment's location in the heart of Old San Juan is ideal, nice building, central to all. However, we had some issues with the cleanliness & the amenities. The kitchen was not stocked for 6 people and the blankets for 2 bedrooms were missing. The agent brought us more glasses, plates, clean pots and blankets. The landlord sincerely listened to our comments and more than tried to make up for our inconvience. He promised to immediately institute our suggestion so I believe that based on our interaction, all the issues will be addressed. The apartment has tremendous potential and if the changes we encouraged are implemented as promised, it will be a jewel.
