The apartment's location in the heart of Old San Juan is ideal, nice building, central to all. However, we had some issues with the cleanliness & the amenities. The kitchen was not stocked for 6 people and the blankets for 2 bedrooms were missing. The agent brought us more glasses, plates, clean pots and blankets. The landlord sincerely listened to our comments and more than tried to make up for our inconvience. He promised to immediately institute our suggestion so I believe that based on our interaction, all the issues will be addressed. The apartment has tremendous potential and if the changes we encouraged are implemented as promised, it will be a jewel.
Great location good for price

I found the stay average. The place is in a great location in old san juan near san sabastian street with lots of bars. It is at the top of the hill from other restaurants and the water area.
The unit was not as clean as the condo I rented 4 days earlier in Fajardo. Walking around without my flip flops my feet got dirty. There were not very many dishes (one cup, a few bowls and plates, adequate pots and pans) and the kitchen was very small so this place is not ideal for anyone looking to eat at home much.
The central air for the unit was leaking. They said this was just fixed a few months ago and should not be leaking again. It still worked but we had to put pots down to catch the water. The air in the master bedroom is a wall unit and was fully functioning. On checkout they asked me if i had any problems with the water. I did not but I was wondering what kind of problems they have had in the past.
Overall not a bad place but not great.

I recently traveled to Puerto Rico at the beginning of this year with a group of friends and naturally I was concerned about finding accomidations that would please everyone especially from the internet. I searched the home away website and found this beautiful condo in Old San Juan. The property featured three spacious bedrooms, a nice living room and a great kitchen. The building was well manicured and even featured a washer and dryer on the property. The condo is also located by a plethera of shops and restaurants not to mention various historical attractions. The owner of the property is very pleasant and knowledgeable. I was very satisfied with my stay and will definetly be back. Thank you Anna.

We just got back about two weeks ago from San Juan…and on the way back I kept telling myself not to forget to write a review. I’m not really big on these things but this was a must! – I totally fell in love with the place…it was spacious, clean, and it provided all of the things we needed during our stay. The location was perfect as everything was in the vicinity of the condo. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone that has plans of visiting San Juan. You will not be disappointed.

This apartment was perfect for all of our needs and, to be honest, the pictures on the website do not do it justice. The apartment is beautiful, with high ceilings and a great deal of amenities. The description was very accurate in terms of the location and the layout, but I was pleasantly surprised as to how spacious it was. The property was very well maintained and clean upon arrival. The owner was very kind, and even helped arrange a taxi service when we left the apartment.
The best part of our vacation was having an apartment in such a wonderful location. Old San Juan is a beautiful town, where there are lots of restaurants, museums and night life. During the days, we walked to different beaches (15 - 30 minute walks). We also walked to the bus station, where we could travel to further areas of the city, such as Pinones, where we rented bikes for the day. We also rented a car, which was actually quite cheap, and spent the day in the rain forest. The apartment is in a safe area, which was nice because we could walk around at night without worry. It was awesome to stay in Old San Juan, and I definitely recommend this area to anyone who is looking for a less "touristy" vacation and the opportunity to do a wide range of activities, not just going to beaches.
The kitchen and kitchen amenities were perfect for cooking meals to eat in the apartment, as well as to make sack lunches to take to the beach during the days. There is a grocery story close to the apartment, which is very convenient.
I would definitely recommend this property to friends and was very impressed by the entire experience.
