The rental property was exactly as advertised. The view from the home was even more than I had expected. The property is extremely well maintained, well furnished and clean. It was a real please dealing with the owners and the rental agency (hassel free). I would not hesitate to recommend the home to friends whom might be interested in coming to Sedona.
You could function without a car but I would recommend one for ease of getting around.
There is so much to do here from using the well maintained pool, great hiking on a multitude of well maintained trails, hot air balloon rides, kayaking, dining out both formal and casual at a multitude of different types of restaurants, Slide Rock State Park with it's famous red rock water slide and the list goes on.
Best of all the weather during June 2009 was absolutely perfect.

Beautiful home with views to die for!

This property is a gem! It has everything that you would ever want or need on your vacation, clean quiet and very very comfortable. The location is perfect as well, close to all vortexes, shopping, theater and restaurants. I took the Pink Jeep Tour to the Grand Canyon and a AZ helicopter ride over Sedona and the Ancient Indian ruins, this you must do for sure! I also lucked out with the weather for January the two weeks that I spent there was beautiful and sunny.

Thank you Jim and Marilyn for sharing this home with everyone. I will be back in the near future.

Review Submitted: November 18, 2008 Date of Stay: March 2008
In a town with no bad views, Jim and Marilyn have managed to provide one of the best right from their dining room. Hiking, sight seeing and excursion trips to the Grand Canyon, Flagstaff, Jerome and many others made our stay both exciting and relaxing. The condo itself was spotless, plush, comfortable and convenient to shopping and uptown Sedona. No 2 ways about it, 5 star all the way. Thanks again you two.

This home is awesome - amazing kitchen; lovely den; two fantastic bedrooms; and a kitchen-diner and living-room that we could never imagine! We loved every bit of it, including the patio with it's views; the giant Weber bar-b-que; the hummingbirds who we coaxed by feeding them lots of sweet water; the velvet dark nights when we could see every star in the sky! It was perfectly clean when we arrived and the garden and all the grounds are really well maintained.
The high points were many - here are but a few:
1. The trails which are everywhere, and suitable for all fitness levels. The scenery on every one we tried is just stunning.
2. The wild coyote who shyly peered at us for about five minutes on one of our early trails before running off into the trees. He obviously decided that a couple of Irish people were no match for other high desert delicacies!
3. The hummingbirds who delighted us every day with their aerial acrobatics when drinking from the pool (which we kept replenished) and frequently displayed their more aggressive nature when they did not want to share!
4. The roadrunners who ran diagonally across the road near Soldiers' Pass Trail - we had not seen any of these wonderful creatures in real life before and were delighted with the experience.
Be sure to obey the Nepenthe rule that requires cars to be kept off the road (i.e. in the garage).
Avoid the over-priced Italian restaurant) at Shelby and 87A.
Try the Cowboy Club in uptown - expensive, but good food and a nice atmosphere.
For good value buffalo fajitas try the Mexican Restaurant (can't remember the name) near the Airport Road on the right side of 89A heading towards the Y.
We drove the Mojave desert, the painted desert, Navajo Nation, all over Red Rock, Jerome, Cottonwood, Flagstaff – the whole area was absolutely amazing!
We have already recommended this rental condominium to friends and relatives and intend to return some day.

Comfort and Stunning Views

We have stayed in various vacation rentals in West Sedona and could not have been more pleased when we walked into this very well equipped home. The view from the dining room and kitchen was just great.
The furnishings were very nice, tvs just where they should be and the kitchen was well equipped. We stayed for a month and since we love Sedona wish we were still there. Also appreciated was the desk and trouble free internet connection. We would highly recommend staying here if you are able to visit Sedona.

Wow nice location

This place has alot of nice features. The patio is real nice and what a view!
The inside is well appointed with nice furniture and nice beds. The decor is lovely. The place is well maintained. Things worked.
It is a good place to take a walk since trails are close by. It doesnt take too long to walk to many services such as safeway and drug stores without a car if your willing to walk a few blocks
The owners are gracious and easy to talk to.
We completely enjoyed our stay at this location. Even though it is in a development we had very good privacy.
My main complaint would be the tight turn required to park inside the garage.
