Awesome house. We had about 15 adult athletes, US Ski Teamers and others staying there. Incredibly nice place. Very efficient. It handled this crew well. Meal times were a breeze in the large kitchen. My only gripe is the lack of parking for a house that big. But this we were able to deal with. We will definitely rent this place again.

We stayed in the Lumber Jack Lodge for five days with our two sons and daughters-in-law and our six grandkids ranging in ages from nine to sixteen. The house was just perfect for our family of twelve. Everyone loved their bedrooms. The lower level game and rec rooms with the pool table, WII, and Play Station kept the kids occupied and happy. The Great Room was a wonderful place for all of us to gather and so big that it never seemed crowded. We all enjoyed the hot tub and the beautiful deck. We had two deer visit us daily. And watching the hummingbirds at the feeder on the deck was a joy. The kitchen is amazing with plenty of room for everyone. Everything in the house is first class, beautifully decorated, and very comfortable.
In addition Copper Mountain is a wonderful place for a family vacation. The summer activities for kids are bungie trampoline, bumper boats, go-karts, climbing wall, miniature golf, ski lift, and a new zip line. There is also a health culb with a pool and weight room.

We loved staying here. Nicely accommodated 6 families (23 people total). Had a fantastic ski time - grab view, ease of ski in/ski out and nice days. Wonderful place! We hope to return!

We had wonderful time during our stay. The Lodge had everything we needed and more. The views are amazing and the location is also great. The bedrooms are very large with bathrooms that are stunning, especially the 2 master suites. Plenty of space for a large groups, we had 19. Loved every minute of our stay and will hopefully return soon!

Ski right out the back patio to get on the Lumbar Jack Lift which will take you to green runs and further on to blues if you so desire! Our party of 14 could not have been more satisfied. The ski school is just down the hill. Copper is beautiful and the house was fabulous!

2 Words: Rustic Elegance

Being from the Houston area, we wanted our family reunion to bring us to a cool, crisp, autumn where we'd be surrounded by the true beauty of fall - Colorado was the perfect destination, and the Lumber Jack Lodge, in all of its rustic yet elegant magnificence, was the most perfect home away from home for all 15 of us. Location: we were ON the mountain, with an awesome hiking trail running right through our back yard! The house: every bathroom (there are 7 full and 2 half baths) is gorgeous with unique artisan fixtures and finishes. From the stone and wood floors to the hammered copper kitchen sink, every inch of this house is a designer's dream. The 4 fireplaces brought cozy warmth, but one of our favorite parts of the home were the luxurious showers! Plus, we made good use of the hot tub and pool table, and the kids loved the Wii and Guitar Hero. Having rented other luxury properties and mansions, I was most impressed by the DETAILS of the Lumber Jack Lodge, and, should we decide to "shine" again in Colorado, we will undoubtedly return to this stunning mountain retreat.
