Lakeshore Retreat is located 100 yards from the Goose Pasture Tarn Lake and only 1½ miles from downtown Breckenridge. This magnificent home has been completely remodeled and beautifully furnished. With 6 bedrooms, 5 bathrooms and and a den, this house can easily accommodate up to 19 guests. This home has a 2-car garage and a large driveway that can accommodate 3 more vehicles, for a total of 5 parking spaces.

On the main level you have 3 bedrooms, two of these bedrooms have queen size beds and the other bedroom has 2 twin beds. On this level you also have 2 full bathrooms with shower/tub. Down the hallway you will find the gourmet kitchen & the dining room with a table that seats 12 people and additional seating for 4 people at the kitchen island and 4 more seats at the kitchen bar. Adjacent to the dining/kitchen area is the main living room with another gas fireplace, stereo system and a sliding glass door that leads to the main deck which has a charcoal grill.

On the upper level you have the master bedroom suite with a king bed, a gas fireplace, a flat-screen TV, DVD player and a full bathroom complete with a shower that has 2 shower heads, a separate 2-person bathtub and 2 lavatories. On this upper level you will also find a very large guest bedroom with a king size bed, 2 queen air beds, a TV with a DVD player (this room does not have cable/satellite) and another bathroom with shower/tub and 2 lavatories. On this level you will also find the den with another flat-screen TV, DVD player and two huge chaise lounge chairs facing a gas fireplace.

On the lower level you will find a bunk bedroom with 1 full/double bed, 3 twin beds and the 5th bathroom. On this level you also have the family room with a large sectional couch that faces a 52' inch TV with a DVD player. Adjacent to the family room is the entertainment game room with a pool table, ping pong table top, foosball table and a wet-bar facing a 2000 bottle wine cellar. On this level, you can walk out to the lower deck, which has a private 6-person jacuzzi-hot tub for you to enjoy and relax in after a long day on the slopes.

We arrived at the Lakeshore property on a Friday afternoon and left the following Monday mid-morning. The property was clean and well accomodating for the 18 people in our family reunion party. The outside space was great, and the rooms were clean and the kitchen was stocked with everything we needed to cook great meals for our large crowd. I would recommend this property to any group that wants a large space to intermingle and socialize together, and yet wants a space of their own to retreat to at the end of the day. I would advise to be very careful to be respectful of the neighbors and space around the property. The neighbor was unforgiving of anyone driving past the house towards his home. Even though the house was stocked with the cookware/utensils needed, we did have to purchase additional paper products (paper towels and toilet paper) as our group was large and spent the majority of the time on the property.

Recommended for: Age 55+, Girls Getaway, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway

We had the priveledge of renting this property in mid Dec for a family gathering. There was great space for everyone to have their own room/BR and the kids had a ball with the foosball and ping pong. There were nice big rooms with plenty of sofas for visiting and a huge table we could all fit around. The surroundings were gorgeous!
Would consider renting here again!!!!
