We had a wonderful stay! The house was just as described and in great shape. Picking up the keys and checking out couldn't have been made more convenient, either.

We loved being walking distance from all of the restaurants, cafes, shops and local flavor of Old San Juan. Thanks for letting us make your home, our home...even if just for a few days.

After a mishap with a phony listing on Airbnb the day before I was set to depart to Puerto Rico, I was directed to Home Away by a New York Times article. Within a few minutes of searching the site, I came across this fantastic Old San Juan listing. I reached out to Vida Urbana and their swift response allowed me to book the condo less than 24 hours later.

I was going to be meeting a friend already in PR and Wanda from Vida Urbana was great about coordinating with him to take care of checking in. Once I arrived,
I was pleasantly surprised by what I saw. The condo is so much bigger and more impressive than what you see in the photos. The master bedroom is well-appointed and spacious and the bed itself is probably nicer than what you sleep on at home. The second bedroom is smaller, but still has enough space for a nice side bed as well as a large closet. Also, don’t discount the 18ft ceilings; they helped keep it cool enough in the condo that we didn’t even need to turn on the AC in mid February. Water pressure is great and there were no issues with water temperature.

The amenities made our stay so much better than a generic hotel experience: Flat screen TV, cable, fully furnished kitchen, washer and dryer, beach towels and bath towels.

The tremendous location was the envy of my friends who live in Puerto Rico, as well as the travelers we met who were staying in Condado. It’s a block away from a great restaurant with authentic Puerto Rican food, El Jibarito, and walking distance from a cool bar called La Taberna Lupulo. Taxis were plentiful and the area is safe.

My friends liked the place so much they decided to stay for an additional night after I went back home to Los Angeles. The folks at Vida Urbana were quick to accommodate, even though it was over a Holiday weekend. I highly recommend this place to anyone thinking of visiting Puerto Rico.

My family and I stayed at this house for about a week for the Christmas holidays and it was fantastic. We couldn't have asked for a better house or location. The place was pretty spacious for 5 people. 2 ppl in one room, 2 in another and 1 on the pull out couch. It was so much better having a fully furnished and stalked house for a week as opposed to staying in a tiny hotel room. The place was close to everything as Old San Juan is a completely walkable. The in house washer dryer was great and having a fully stalked kitchen was great too for those days you didn't feel like eating out. Wanda was also great as well as she was very helpful and attentive in making sure we had everything we needed. I would definitely stay at this place or another one of Vida Urbana's locations again and would recommend this place to anyone!

We loved the home on calle del sol. It was close to everything and had everything we needed for a great stay. The property was clean and the air conditioning in the bedrooms was great. I would recommend this to anyone wanting to stay in Old San Juan.

Our stay at the condo was great! It was clean, in a nice location and was perfect for what we needed. The condo description was accurate. The owner was very helpful and nice and let us know to call if we needed anything. I would recommend this property to a friend or relative. We enjoyed having a short walk to the beach, lots of restaurants and shops within walking distance. We have a great stay in San Juan and would come back again.

Your quaint old house and it's location were perfect for exploring and truly experiencing Old San Juan. We liked the restaurant right down the street and even the yellow cat that hung out in front. We walked to the store and made our own breakfast every day. It was like living there, not cocooned in a plastic resort that could be anywhere. Wanda, who met us when we arrived and checked us out when we left, could not have been more pleasant and accommodating.

My family just got back from a week in Old San Juan. We absolutely loved staying at this property. It was perfect for our vacation, we could cook, heat up left overs, relax on our own time schedule and use it as a base for exploring the island. We were met right on schedule by Wanda and she showed us everything in the apartment. Everything worked well. She was also very helpful with the check out. The whole experience from on-line reservations through the check out was smooth and efficient. We appreciated the various suggestions of things to do in the area - we made it through many of the restaurants suggested. We would definitely use Vida Urbana again. This was one of our favorite vacations ever.

The villa apartment was fantastic! Easy access to all of the wonderful things o see and do in Old SJ. We were a group of 6 girls and the accomodations were perfect and we were very comfortable. You can't beat the price and the location! Also, the people working at Vida Urbana are so helpful and booking with them was painless. Buen viaje!
