I cannot recommend this property. It is way too expensive for the quality of the accommodations. I know quaint and rustic and I know neglected and tacky and everything about this house screams the latter. Dillon Beach is a wonderful place and I will definitely return, but I will find somewhere else to stay.

My family had a lovely time at Christmas in this very comfortable, clean, and well furnished house. It is right next to the beach, so we took our dogs for walks and enjoyed the beautiful scenery. The kitchen is well appointed with everything you need to put a nice meal together. We brought food up with us, but there is a grocery store in Tomales, and a smaller store in Dillon Beach. I really enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub, and there is a sauna right next to the hot tub. The property is fully fenced, so the dogs could spend time outdoors in the nicely landscaped backyard. My husband and I loved this house and are making plans to come back with friends.

My boyfriend decided to surprise me for my birthday and rented this beautiful vacation home for the weekend. I could not have envisioned a more perfect place for a romantic birthday/getaway weekend. The rooms were spacious and well decorated and created a very comfortable and romantic setting.

The kitchen was well utilized as he cooked me the most wonderful birthday dinner from scratch and subsequent meals throughout our stay. He had brought enough groceries, so we never had to leave.

This property boasts some of the most beautiful and serene beach views. It was nice to take a moment to watch the water as I sipped my first cup of coffee in the morning. It was also great to take long walks along the beach hand in hand with my handsome fella after being well fed.

I would definitely rent this property again. Perhaps one day this place will become even more special for me and my boyfriend.

My husband and I spent a few nights at Beachwalk and had a superb time. It is the perfect retreat. Since both Dillon Beach and the home is pet friendly we were able to bring along our pooch Wesley. Having the whole family together made this vacation property feel more like a home. While it had the perfect combination of home comforts, my husband and I felt like were staying in a serene retreat. It was exactly what we needed to feel rejuvenated. The sauna, outdoor shower, and starry nights in the hot tub are much more than you could ask for in a vacation property. During the day we could comfortably watch kite surfers on the beach either behind the front deck windbreaker or from the hot tub lookout. My husband and I enjoyed trotting across the street for the beach, but we often found ourselves persuaded to stay in and cuddle up to the fireplace. The location is by far the best we have had in a Dillon Beach vacation property. We’d give this property five stars and were reserving our next stay now!

This is a really great place right by the beach. The location is prefect, you can just walk down the road and the ocean is right there! And when it gets cold, the house has an awesome hot tub to go warm up and relax in. There was enough space for us all to sleep comfortably (group of 6) and there's even a private room separated from the house for people who like privacy or go to sleep early. I love the outdoor shower and the sauna! The house itself if beautiful, so many windows make the sun just shine in so it's bright and warm and lovely. The kitchen is really modern and comes with most cooking stuff you need. There is a good selection of books and Dvds and games to keep you occupied at night or when you're not at the beach. Overall, my group had a fantastic time at this wonderful little getaway and never wanted to leave! We will definitely be back.

This is either the 4th or 5th time my husband and I and our 2 dogs have stayed at this down-to-earth, very comfortable and homey property! We truly love it and it is a real "retreat" for us every time we visit. It boasts a gorgeous ocean view and is literally across the road from the beach. With the view, fireplace, hot tob and private, enclosed backyard, we have (and usually elect) the option of not getting into the car again until we head back to the city. While it is not super-luxey, it has all the essential comforts and accoutrements of home for us. We plan to return for many more visits, and it's always a challenge for us to leave this lovely sanctuary by the ocean.

My husband and I were in need of a much needed rest and getaway and we found it! This place was perfect and pet friendly. Not only did the owner allow us to bring our dog but the house is located on a pet friendly beach! Not much of those left.

The house itself is very cozy and accommodating. There is a seating area outside that has plexy glass installed as a windbreak. It was the perfect place to sit and watch the sunset. The backyard area is completely fenced in so we felt comfortable letting our poochy outside. The jacuzzi was sunk-in and the owner had installed more plexy glass so you could see outside beyond the backyard. There was also an outdoor shower and an outdoor restroom! Awesome!

The interior was just as accommodating. The kitchen is fully stocked with dishes, coffee maker, gas stove, etc. Bring your own spices though as there are no perishables provided (understandable). There was a nice selection of DVD movies, too, and I especially like the oversized remote for the TV in the master bedroom LOL.

It was so relaxing and it was so nice to just be able to walk out the door and cross the street and voila! At the beach! The other nice "perk" was to be able to walk out of the house and look down the street to the people who had to pay for parking whereas we did not :-)

Our teens/young adult children and dog had a great and relaxing time with their parents and friends at this comfortable home so close to the beach. The glassed in yard made it comfortable even on windy days. The wood burning stove made it cozy on drizzly days, and the beach so close was fantastic every day. The kitchen is quite a comfortable place to cook tasty feasts, the beds were all very comfortable as well. Dillon beach is a very remote and restful place, so it's great for quiet family bonding time, jogs on the beach, puzzles, and games. This house is one of the best locations for enjoying Dillon beach.
