We were in Oxnard for a family wedding, and enjoyed being close to the beach. We took early morning walks on the beach, and enjoyed seeing the surf and the birds.

The house was comfortable; the kitchen was well equipped. The property was clean and well maintained.

Wonderful Vacation Home

Our stay ( 12 of us) at this location was one of the best experiences we have ever had, this was the perfect house, everything in order and nice and clean, very comfortable beds, clean sheets, plenty of towels, full kitchen with all utensils needed, ready to jump into the ocean, soft sandy beach, beautiful sunsets, with perfect 360 round view, just gorges. Such good location, did not need to go sit seeing.

For years our family has been tent campers. This year my husband and I decided that we no longer wanted to sleep on the ground, so we held a family conference call to propose a change. My sons-in-law immediately said "beach house". Everyone agreed so I began an internet search for a house as close to the beach as I could get for 12 people. Quickly, I found this home which met everyone of our needs. The reservation process was very easy. Upon our arrival, everyone was very excited to find such a lovely home. The grandkids loved the bikes, the ping pong table and kayak. The closet was loaded with family games and there was a television in every bedroom. The men in my family love to cook. They were delighted to find a fully stocked kitchen. Upon seeing the crab pot in the kitchen, they went to the Farmer's Market in search of "fresh crab". While we had a wonderful dinner, this turned out to be a "cooking experience" for the grandkids!
While there is much to do that this home, there is also lots to do in the area. One day the grandsons went paint balling. Another day, the granddaughters took surf board lessons. Six people went on a day long fishing trip and some of us went to lunch and a movie. One afternoon, I enjoyed the roof-top lounge area and read a book. Upon leaving, we all agreed that it was time to give up camping. We want to come back to this home again and again. Oh ....... did I say the beach was beautiful. Every day was a beach day. Thanks for a great family vacation week.

Hmm.... Where do I start from? Ok, let's talk about Two things - "Host" and the "House" .
Right from the first call to Debbie to inquire about availability, to the last call to leave a "Thank You" note, it was a very pleasant experience. She is the most awesome host you could ever find.. She was so patient in answering all our trivial questions that we planned a hassle-free vacation for a group of 10 ( note that this is our first rental).. I wouldn't give a second thought to contact her, if I am planning a vacation at Oxnard again (and Yes, I am already thinking to go back in Summer :) )

And this place, has everything you are looking for on a vacation. From the small golf area in the front yard to the big deck on the third floor to hang out/barbecue, it is very well planned. Kitchen is stacked up (I had to return 50% of the un-used items we bought), spacious bedrooms with comfortable beds, guest-house an awesome addition, Garage stacked up with everything that you need at the beach... We were a group of 10 + 2 infants and still had a lot of space to find .

I would recommend this place for anyone looking for a vacation home in ventura area.. Go for it...

When we booked this rental home the first thing that got our attention was the great price! Then when we arrived we instantly realized how great a deal it was! This house has everything you need and MORE, from the well equipped kitchen to the "fun equipped" garage! We had 3 families staying in the house and yet it never felt crowded.
The beach was wonderful! We went everyday and pretty much had the whole beach to ourselves! No one wanted to leave when the week was over, and we will definitely stay here again when go back to CA!

We just returned from a week at this beautiful home in Oxnard. It was just as pictured in the listing, with a wonderful homey feeling, and great "beach" decor! Everything was so nice - and we felt right at home the minute we arrived. The house was very clean, had all the amenities you could want or imagine!
The neighborhood is quiet and people are very friendly. Lots of people out walking, enjoying the fresh air. The location is central to many other communities and activities - all you have to do is choose what it is you want to do.
I've lived most of my life in Southern Cal, going to the beach weekly from the time I was a teen up until my kids were teens and I've never seen a cleaner beach! So close and so beautiful!!
I would highly recommend staying in this lovely place - and plan on doing it again!!

We highly recommend a stay in this fully equiped Condo. Many places advertise as fully equiped and you're disappointed when you get there. You will not be disappointed here. Wait till you see. You feel like you're home the minute you enter. We had six adults and one infant in our party. There was more than enough room. With the kids out on their own now, what a treat to be able to rent a place that everyone can enjoy together. The beach breezes were wonderful. Access to the beach is a stone's throw away. We recommend it to everyone. Nodoby was ready to leave, and we will definitley return in the future. Thanks for sharing your wonderful home with us.

Our party of 9 ranging from ages 11- 52 arrived late on a Friday evening and after an hour drive arrived at the rental home. The pictures on the website didn't do this home justice.. we felt like we had returned home after a long vacation rather than just arriving from Florida for a week long vacation. The owners Debbie & Keith checked on us upon arrival and again during the week to make sure we had everything we needed. The home was immaculate, supplied with everything you could think of & extremely roomy. With 2 pre teens & 3 teenage boys in tow I never felt like I couldn't find a little privacy & a few moments of peace and quiet. Four (4) days after my return home, I was pleasantly surprised to find my deposit in my mailbox. I would definitely rent this property again when visiting the area if it is available!.
