The location of this house can't be beat - it just doesn't get better than being right across the street from the beach, especially when you have little ones and tons of stuff. The house is also an easy walk from Ocean Grove, which is dotted with kid-friendly stores and ice cream shops. The large patio provides an instant playroom and a great place to relax in the evening. The house had everything we needed and made for a truly memorable vacation.

We stayed at the house for Memorial Weekend and had a great time! The house is well maintained and right across the street from the beach. We loved hanging out on the porch and in the area behind the house. There is a grill and well set up kitchen. the house was clean and spacious. I would definitely recommend this house to my friends!

I’m so sorry this August visitor did not let me know about the air filters or having to wear shoes inside the house, which implies the house was not clean (although she does not say so). I had asked her specifically at check in to let me know if everything was OK because I had a new cleaning crew. I also had a neighbor stop by to check on her, and I gave her my number and my agent’s number. Not a word of complaint to anyone until I saw this review, yet I could have had it cleaned again immediately. I know it is hard to spend most of a week inside when it is raining, especially with a house full of young children, but there is no mold—only the dampness of being directly on the ocean and in several days of wind and rain (which can indeed blow the ceiling panels when the doors are opened). The “back door” mentioned leads to the upstairs of the house, which has a separate apartment, so is locked off when the upstairs apartment is rented separately. No one is trapped (!)because every room has windows that open directly to the outside, and there are two separate doors to the outside, all of which are checked by the fire marshal before anyone can stay here. There is simply no need to go upstairs through the padlocked door. She also seems to imply that the teak shower platform is an outrage, but I’m just not sure why.

My family enjoyed our stay in this house very much. It's right across the street from the beach. Very convenient for running back for lunch or when we forgot something. Wonderful location for boardwalk or beach strolls or for bicycling (nice & flat). The deck is a great spot for relaxing or eating in the day or evening. It's across from a little playground so we could watch the children playing. It has a washer/dryer (really handy for a long stay) and an outdoor shower (the ones on the beach are so cold!). it's an older house, but clean and spacious with comfortable beds. The owners were a few houses away and very helpful with recommendations for local restaurants, ice cream parlors, etc. We had a great time. This is our second summer and we're going back next year.
