Our experience in NYC was delightful, despite the intermittent rain and fog. The views were incredible, and it was wonderful just to gaze out the windows or have coffee in the morning or a glass of wine in the evening on the small terrace.

The apartment was slightly smaller than it appears in the pictures, but it lived up to our expectationsin every way. Our contact was there to meet us as scheduled, the people at the front desk were very friendly and courteous, and the roof deck offered spectacular views as well. The location was good for us as we love walking in NYC and were able to reach all our desitnations, including a great street fair, on foot. I would definitely recommend this apartment to anyone who would like to experience New York City more as a native than a tourist.

My wife and I stayed in this apartment during the first week in February 2009, and really enjoyed our stay. The apartment feels like home. The owner has thoughtfully left everything you need in the apartment, including kitchen utensils and even a toolbox in case you need it. We are keen walkers, and the location is great - only 15-20 minutes to the Times Square and Broadway, and there are lots of restaurants and grocery shops nearby. The most memorable aspect of the apartment is its panoramic views of downtown Manhattan. Spectacular!

When we enquired at short notice, a larger apartment in the same building was offered (with photos) for the same price. The apartment was precisely as described and depicted in the photos. Great view, beautiful new kitchen and appliances (with enough cups/glasses/plates - often an issue!!), new large washing machine & dryer (separate units, hidden neatly in a cupboard), and spare pillows/linen/doonas etc in the cupboards should we need them.
The owner's rep was there as promised to let us in and show us the apartment, and she was extremely friendly, helpful and on the ball. The welcome book with restaurant recommendations etc was homely and friendly, a nice touch. We had no problems during our stay.
Great location, especially if you are planning on seeing lots of Broadway theatre, the walk is easy (about 15-20mins). Loads of good restaurants (of varied cuisines and prices) in the area, especially on 9th Ave.
Only very slight negative is that it is not very close to a subway station - 2 avenue blocks and 2 street blocks (to 50th & 8th) - however that is just us being lazy!

My fiance and I stayed here for 4 nights in mid December to see the big apple at Christmas time. The property is very accurately described by the owners. Very nice accommodations in the kitchen and bathroom. If you stay in this unit for a few days and plan on grocery shopping, be sure to take the D'agustino's card in the kitchen drawer, it will save you 25-40%. We wished the bathroom had an exhaust fan. Also the bedroom is pretty small with no TV, or fan, and one small dresser. Also, there was something weird about the air/heater in the bedroom, causing our throats to dry out every night.
We loved the location, it was about 15 min walk to Times Square, and 2 blocks to the nearest subway. It also has an excellent view of the city.

a real home from home, close to everything, we walked everywhere. realy comfortable and even the pull out bed settee was more comfy than most hotel beds. can't fault the place. very safe and secure.

My husband and I visited the Big Apple for the first time, and this lovely penthouse made it the perfect stay. We felt very, very safe. It is close to everything you want to see. The views are incredible. Pictures do not do the apartment justice. The owners could not have more welcoming. The place was spotless and very well decorated. We are already planning to come back and bring our daughters. Thank you for just a fantastic place to stay!

Spectacular views. Property was clean and well maintiained. Was the perfect place to stay. Good base for sightseeing. Owners son was very helpful. l Would not hesitate to recommend this property to all my friends.
