We enjoied Studio della Pace for the second time!!

We enjoyed Studio della Pace as our "Home in Rome" Oct 8 thru Oct 11, 2009. The apartment is wonderful and thoughtfully equipped, but the best part is its host Fabrizio! Thorough, genuine, and KIND. He arranged our pick-up and drop-off; not to mention that he helped us recover my purse I left on the airport pick-up car!! Everything was still in it too! He made sure we knew how to get to any place we needed and that we knew how to work the espresso machine (and everything else)!! If anything could compare to Fabrizio it might be the location of this apartment. Everything you need for comfort (grocery, pharmacy, GELATO...)is literally right outside the front door. The bus stop is less than a 5 minute walk, but we could walk to most everything - Vatican, Spanish Steps, Venezia. Piazza Navona, also a less than 5 min walk, was one of the best passeggiata spots we enjoyed during our trip. Also, be sure to enjoy the line at Pizzeria da Baffetto (10 min walk); you'll be seated quickly and relish maybe the best pizza you've ever had. Also, we had a fabulous romantic night out at the courtyard-like resturant St. Lucia. Many times during our stay we noted that we could not have found a better place - thank you again Fabrizio; hope to make it back someday!

My wife and I (Una & Dave) were fortunate enough to stay at Fabrizio's apartment for 8 nights during October, 2009. Other than finding it a bit difficult to locate when we arrived (our lack of Italian sure didn't help us) we found it a fabulous place to call home during our visit. It is located roughly 100 meters from the Piazza Navona and the small neighborhood had absolutely everything we would need within a few steps (supermercado, internet/WiFi cafe, many nice eateries, etc.). The apartment itself was very clean and well equipped. We actually cooked our own (very bad) imitations of Italian cuisine a couple of times and found everything we needed had been provided by Fabrizio including a selection of Italian wines he had hand picked. I'd recommend this place without hesitation with only one slight advisory - getting upstairs to the sleeping area is not recommended for those not in decent physical condition. If you are looking for a great place to stay with a perfect central location and a fabulous, attentive host don't hesitate to book this little gem. We would definitely stay here again on our next visit.

We stayed at the apartment from Sep 17-20, 2009. There were 3 adults that stayed in this apartment and I would highly recommend it to others looking for a great place to stay in an amazing location. The photos of the apartment are very accurate and Fabrizio is a great host. Fabrizio responded to all of our e-mails in a timely fashion, arranged for a car to pick us up at the airport and lent us a cell phone to use as well as maps & guidebooks! There was also a selection of Italian wines that we could taste. We have wonderful memories of our in Rome. Thank-you so much Fabrizio!!

Location, Location, Location! Right in the Centro Historico, staying here really highlighted Rome as a walking city: everything seemed only a short stroll away.

Fabrizio is also the consummate host. With impeccable attention to detail he facilitated almost every aspect of our stay.

Would certainly stay here again and highly recommend it to others.

This a partment is so comfortable and very well located. Only one block from Pza Navonna. The Tourist office is there and the bus stops for all parts of Rome, as well. The apartment is surrounded by inexpensive trattorias and in the morning there is a fruit and vegetable market downstairs. Fabrizio was very helpful with information and he arranged for taxi service to the train station when we were leaving.

I agree with all the wonderful comments posted before this one. The new addition was SATELLITE TV which Fabrizio added right before our stay in March. We also enjoyed the washing machine!

Can't wait till the next trip!

What a wonderful time my son and I had in Rome. The apartment at Via della Pace was the perfect location. It allowed us easy access to the major tourist sites and was convenient to great restaurants and shopping. We had a fabulous time. Fabrizio was lovely and helpful and available whenever we needed him. I highly recommend this apartment for a stay in Rome and will definitely stay there again.

Location, location, location! It was so wonderful to
walk everywhere and return to this sparkling clean
apartment. The only thing more charming than our
quiet hideaway was Fabrizio, our host. A daily
vegetable market, a small grocer and a great
takeaway Pizza all at the front door. Our nightly
stroll on Piazza Navonna was spectacular. Thank
you for making our Rome Holiday such a joy.
