We have just returned from three weeks in paradise. This is our third year renting
this condo and everytime we return and open the door it feels like it's saying
" Welcome Home".
What a wonderful place to soak in the "No Worry-No Hurry" experience of the
island.
The condo is equipped with everything you need and then some items you didn't
even know you needed.
The condo and pool is always clean and inviting. Every year we seem tofind a
"New Favorite place toto eat and "New" jeweler !! (Don't miss The Pickled Greek,
You are here, or Cruzan Gold.)

Sea Escape is located in a great location. Have your coffee on the balcony every morning. Listen to the waves 24/7. Just open the door and start your vacation. Terry is a very accomadating owner. You have everything you need there. Good people, great pool(one of the biggest on the island). This was our third time back. Every year the time seems to go faster. Plus, we are finding new places to see every year!

There were four of us who shared this delightful condo for a week of R&R. The setting is gorgeous looking out at the ocean while we sat on the balcony having breakfast. We were very pleased with the fully equipped kitchen. (we bought lobster down the road and cooked them ourselves...YUMMY) meat was reasonably priced in the grocery stores, but staples were pricey.
Had fun exploring the island in our rental car. (driving on the left was umm, interesting lol)

Found all natives and tourists very friendly.

If you are looking for a nice quiet, clean place to get away, then this condo in St Croix fits the bill exactly. We are all in our fifties, and it was perfect in every way. The weather was gorgeous... Not too hot, and not cold. I wish we were still there right now.

What an absolutely delightful place to stay! The condo is bright & beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. Everything you could possibly need is provided, from beach towels to Wi-Fi to the well stocked kitchen.
We saw nine different kinds of birds from our patio the first morning when we were having coffee! Bring your binoculars! It's a quick trip to Little Princesse nature center and a beautiful drive to Sandy Point.
Loved the beautiful beachfront....you can walk for a long way in either direction....usually with a little blue heron to keep you company! Or soak up the sun and just enjoy listening to the ocean! Swimming was better a short walk down the beach at the Palms, there were a lot of coral shelves on our beach, and a very healthy crop of sea urchins! The pool and hot tub were lovely....don't forget to check out the book closet and bring your camera to photograph the iguanas lounging by the pool
Local food stands were great...La Reina Chicken and West Indian and Lebanese vendors were our favorites....great gyros, huumus, and roti!
We only had one complaint...a week wasn't long enough...next time we'll come for two!

My family and I celebrated Christmas together in St. Croix in this lovely condo. The unit was perfect! Terry had everything that we could want or need. The unit was spotless, comfortable, and fully stocked with all the necessaries, and then some (including candles, matches, and flashlights for inclement weather).
The grounds were beautiful and very well maintained. We particularly enjoyed watching the iguanas sunning in the grass by the pool and occasionally wandering over to relax under a lounge chair. The pool was sparkling clean and the hot tub was the perfect temperature. We swam every day and usually again in the evening after we cooked dinner together.
You will need a car to get around the island. Driving on the left was an adventure, as was dodging the chickens that roam around everywhere. Don't miss the farmers' market for local produce and fresh fish, but go early to get the best selection and prices. The living history sunset sail on the Roseway was relaxing and inspirational. The sea plane to St. Thomas was a blast! If you hike the Carambola trail, go early as the sun sets quickly in the forest. The Cruzan distillery tour was an adventure, as was snorkeling at Buck Island.
Two weeks was the perfect length of time to stay as it took us all a few days to sync up with "island time" and relax. If you plan to travel light and ship stuff home, check with the Post Office as they close for festivals and random events.
The people of St Croix were friendly and happy to offer suggestions to "mainlanders" for interesting aspects of the island that are not featured in the travel brochures. And the water...ahh.. the gorgeous ocean and its myriad shades of blue. Truly, I've never seen anything like it. It was breathtaking!
The weather was perfect the entire two weeks, the folks who live at the condos were friendly and fun (although we usually had the entire pool area to ourselves), and the cultural experience was educational for the entire family. The island has a most colorful history and I recommend that visitors read up about the strategic importance of the island for a better understanding of the local points of interest. The forts and the Salt River landing bring the history of the island to life.
Our kids are 17 and 27 and we all had a delightful time!
I highly recommend this lovely condo as an excellent value for a tropical vacation. If we ever make it back to St. Croix, we will definitely stay at Terry's condo.

We could not have been more pleased with this condo! Very large and right on the beach! When we arrived we were shocked at how furnished the condo was, down to extra sunscreen and laundry soap! Terry, the owner, even called to check on us to make sure we had everything we needed. We spent many afternoons at the pool which was very clean and quiet. There is a resident pool iguana that comes out once it gets hot. We rarely needed to use the a/c and enjoyed sleeping with the sliding glass doors open, enjoying the breeze! The location is great, convenient to the Christiansted boardwalk and a quick 20 minute drive to Fredericksted We will definitely be back to stay again!

We visited SeaEscape in October; end of "low" season in St. Croix - meaning before the cruise ships begin pulling into the island for the season. Result: St. Croix was quiet;I liked it that way.

The condo is perfectly located a very short walk from the beach with beautiful pool. Facilities were well appointing and nicely equipped... when one of the TV remote batteries stopped working, I thought that we would grab a battery at the grocery store - only to find spares of every size & description in a kitchen drawer.

We so enjoyed having a condo instead of a hotel.. the convenience of eating when we wanted, what we wanted and making a picnic to visit the other side of the island, or go visiting the rum distilleries is just so "us" - it was the first condo rental we've ever done - and is now our preferred way of vacationing.

We were told that we could use taxis throughout our stay, but being independent explorers, we preferred to have our own car and rented a Yaris 4-door for our stay... be warned - St. Croix roads are full of pot-holes and driving on the left with a car that was designed for US roads is "interesting" - but drive slow + steady and you'll get along fine... having the car was a blessing - we were able to go anywhere & do anything we wanted. Just as well, because being low season, over the Columbus day and Puerto Rico friendship weekend, the island had a good amount of places shut down... we didn't mind - there is always RUM to nurse away whatever ails you.

Speaking of rum - there are two distilleries - the modern Captain Morgan Rum factory tour is $10 a person - we did this one 2nd- but 1st we took the Cruzan Rum Tour - at $5 a person - the rum making process is pretty simple - very low-tech and we loved it... we got to watch every step on our private tour (just us 2 + the tour guide) - and at the end of the tour, you get 2 cocktails - but unlimited "samples" - which are about half a shot measure - of every rum they make.... and Cruzan makes a LOT of rums... be warned... best $5 a person we have spent all year!!!

We actually preferred the Cruzan tour - it was more intimate - the process is less "industrial" - but both are worth doing to contrast the two - the old vs the modern.

Duty free rum: bring home 6 btls PER PERSON - buy it at the factory - they'll box it + bubble-wrap it... next time we'll take extra large zip-bags to put the bottles inside as well.
