Looking for the perfect vacation home for your next Get-away come stay at Alpine Lodge. We have two open-hearth river rock wood burning fireplaces for cozy winter nights by the fire. This is a waterfront home located in Tahoe Keys - open, airy, spacious, 3 bedroom, 3 bath, 2300 square foot home. The main living areas are all located upstairs providing a full picturesque view of the water. The downstairs level offers a game room with pool table and 40” Flat screen TV.......

Summary of Rental Summary Fees:

*Rate Information: Our rates are based on the total number of bedrooms required during the entire stay. Each bedroom is considered to be double occupancy. We only rent to one family/party at a time, this is not a shared house rate like a B&B. If not all the bedrooms are ordered we close off the bedrooms that are not going to be used. We have a flexible reservation system so if you are not sure of the number of bedrooms at time of booking you can add sleeping capacity up until 7 days prior to arrival.

* The 3 bedroom rate is shown on the listing rate schedule. Each bedroom not required deduct $50.00 per night, plus tax and $25.00 for cleaning = $80.00/nt.

*Reservations Deposits: A 20% deposit is required at time of booking, the balance is due 60 days prior to arrival.

Reservation Deposits and Payments: For the protection of our renters the only form of payment we accept is credit card or echeck through our own reservation system . We will never ask a renter to send us any payment by a wire transfer service.

* Application Fee - $35.00 (waived for repeat guests)

* Damage Insurance - $45.00 (required to rent this home).

* Nightly Rate Adjustment - $50.00 deduct for each bedroom nor required.

* Cleaning Fee 3 bedrooms - $200.00 deduct $25.00 for each bedroom not required.

* Sofa Beds (optional) $50.00/nt two available

* Time Change Option - $20.00/hr Early or Late Check out (not available on back to back bookings)

* Day Guest Visitors - $10.00/ per person maximum of 2 days guest visitors (only available if our maximum occupancy has not been exceeded).

* Pet Fee - $25.00 /nt based on pets 25 lbs or less for pets over 25 lbs. $10.00 additional fee

* Refundable Pet Deposit - $100.00

Minimum Stay Requirements:

* June, July and August 7 night minimum (Sat - Sat only). We will consider shorter stays during the peak season if a full week stay has not been booked by the 15th of April.

* Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years Eve week 5 nights.

* All other Federal Holidays 3 nights

* Balance of the year 2 nights

We stayed at the Alphine Lodge and had an outstanding time. It was very clean and more than we had hoped for.
This was a very romantic get away for my husband and I. The cartaker Julie was very kind and so pleasant.

This vacation house is awesome!!!

My husband, children and I had such a great time staying here. We came up here for a white christmas and boy... did we get a white christmas. It snowed a lot!! My children had a blast playing in the snow in the back yard. The caretaker "Julie" was also very nice and helpful to us. We look forward to coming back here again.

This was great house!

Came up for a ski weekend great location, beds were comfortable and we found the home to be nice and clean. The kithen was really well equiped so much so we decided to stay in and cook ourselves rather than having to deal with snow on the roads. Julie was great attended to everything we needed even arranged to have chains brought over to us and helped put them on. We liked this place so much and the rate was so good we booked another visit in March

terrible experience

Had to contact the Tahoe Chamber of Commerce. Wasps in the house, TV and VCR failed and not replaced for days, dog poop all over back yard, goose poop all over dock and yard, many other issues that the owner and property management company dealt with terribly.

CONTACT THE CHAMBER OF COMMERCE BEFORE RENTING!!
Owner's Response: Other than this guest we have a flawless record with South Lake Tahoe Chamber of Commerce and actually welcome anyone with concerns to contact them. There are two sides to every story. This guest failed to disclose in the review that we complied with every single one of his requests. Both the property mgmt firm and the owner did everything possible to try and satisfy this person to and including buying a larger TV (when the one we had worked perfectly fine) and a second DVD player. We can supply dozens of reviews from very satisfied guests which are posted in the guest book on this listing.
