We are on the 4th floor, with large balcony overlooking the pool and Carribean.

What a Great Family Vacation!

This condo was just as described, even better. Our family escaped the Canadian winter for a wonderful week at Mark and Daisy's condo. We have rented in Cozumel before, but this is easily one of the best. It is in a quiet area N of town but we often walked in or took a taxi. The whole island is very safe and the young people were out at midnigt enjoyeng Mardi Gras.The basics were all supplied and we left a few kitchen supplies behind for the next guests.This seems to work very well.The condo is very quiet and we almost felt it was our own private resort. Snorkelling was great and both the pool deck and balcony very relaxing. Mark and Daisy were very easy to deal with and answered all questions that we had. I would highly recommend this condo and we definately hope to return.

Great Stay!

Our party of six stayed at Mark and Daisy's condo over Christmas. It was a lovely stay... a beautiful condominum! Looked just like the video and photos. Very spacious, great ocean views. Kelly met us there upon our arrival and answered all of our questions openly and honestly. We spent the majority of our time on the balcony; eating, drinking, reading, playing games, etc. The kitchen had all the amenities we needed to cook our breakfast and several dinners. We enjoyed shopping at the Mega and Chedraui to stock up with local food, but we also enjoyed our meals at La Choza and Casa Denis, both near the main square. We had a memorable time on the east side as well at Playa Bonita and Coconuts. We even scored a free appetizer when we name dropped Mark's name (thanks Mark!) Snorkeling right off the condo was great, current was not too strong (as we had heard that it could be in that area.) Our only negative was that the hot tub only worked (ie. had hot water) only one day out of the six nights we were there, which was a disappointment to my daughters and their friend. All in all it was an enchanting time on the island of Cozumel!

Perfect Cozumel Vacation in Perfect, Homey Condo

I went there for a week with a group of friends - 3 couples in total, and we could not get over how roomy and comfortable this condo was. Not once did we ever feel crowded, even when all 6 of us hung out every evening and morning on the balcony overlooking the pool and ocean. And that is where the real magic is with this condo. It literally sits right on the water, with only a pool in between, with snorkeling right there in front of the building. The turquoise and blue water of the ocean literally are breathtaking. But the best part is that you feel like the entire place is yours alone, as we saw maybe two other people at the pool the entire week. This was exactly the type of experience we were hoping for, as we wanted to to stay as far away from the tourist traps as possible. Having said that, though, everything you could posible want was only a short drive away. The shopping, restaurants and bars (where the cruise ship folks mostly go) is all there for you if you want that experience, but you are also very close to more local restaurants and shopping, including the Mega (huge Walmart type of store) for groceries and anything else you could possibly need. There are also really great beach clubs either within walking distance, or on the other side of the island, if you want to get out and explore. We ended up renting a Jeep (yes it was old, a little beat up and with zero bells & whistles) for cheap (rent in-town, not at the airport to save $$!) and went to many places, including Palancar Beach, Coconuts and Antonio's (can't beat the sunset dinner service).
We absolutely plan on returning to this condo - hopefully sooner rather than later. Mark and Daisy (owners) were super helpful in getting us set up to stay there, and Alex, the property manager was also very helpful during our stay. You can't beat this place. Clean, modern, comfortable, roomy, perfect location... it was the perfect condo for a perfect vacation.

All it claims and more!

We spent two weeks at this wonderful condo in June, 2012. It was all it claims to be and more! Beautiful, clean and an amazing view of the ocean. 3 beautiful bedrooms, 4 awesome baths, wonderful wonderful property. Relax in the pool or enjoy some great snorkeling directly in front of the condo.
Mark and his management team were all great, there if you need them but leaving you on your own if you don't.
We do a dive trip every year and always stay at a condo. This is one of the nicest placest we have stayed and was the most economical.
Highly reccomend Cozumel and Marazul Condos!

Wonderful Birthday!

We just had a great family vacation! We had to delay for a day and Mark was great! He was so helpful, Thanks Mark, you were awesome! The pictures don't do this place justice. Great to wake up to the BIG windows and sunshine! This was one of my best birthdays ever. It's not if we will be back, but when. This is one of the best places we have stayed in all of our travels. The only problem was the vacation was not long enough! Is it ever? We will be back with more of our family!

I've just returned from a wonderful stay at Casa Trahan. The condo is clean, spacious, and has everything you need. The area is perfect since it's close to town but doesn't have all the cruise ship traffic. We practically had the pool to ourselves even though it's peak season- what's not to love about that! The views from the condo are beautiful- you can't imagine how blue the water is and pictures just don't do it justice. I loved having my morning coffee on the balcony as we made plans for the day and watching the sunset in the evenings with a drink by the pool. Mark was so helpful, as were Kelley and Fernando. I can't wait for a return visit!

wow , what a nice place . first i want to thank Mark for being so easy to work with . i could go on and write a whole page on the condo ,but everyone else that stayed here already did ,so i can only say that everything great, that was said about the condo is true .cant wait to book another week with Mark.

My family and I stayed at Mark and Daisy's condo in August 2011. The condo was beautiful!! It was very clean and spacious. It was located very close to town but far away enough to avoid all the craziness of tourism. The views are incredible from the balcony!! We snorkeled everyday and saw an array of aquatic life! The pool and grounds are very well maintained as well as the other surrounding condo's. We had a fantastic time!! I am sure we will visit again. Thanks Mark!!

Cozumel Condo - Bad Experience

If you like hard pillows, uncomfortable beds and false advertising, This is your place!
Owner accused us of leaving the place a mess and painting the walls...What the heck
Nothing could be further from the truth!
I personally made sure all the trash was disposed of and the house was clean.
Owner takes deposit and then plays games with you to try and get it back!
Owner states there are plenty of TV channels including US major networks.
US TV network channels did not work the entire week!
Horrible experience.
Take my advice and find somewhere else to stay.

Owner's Response: To our possible future renters. Out of 45 reviews of our home... ALL of them were rated by our guests as 5 STARS including the guests who were in after this unhappy renter. Our property manager which inspects our home after every guest said there were issues with our condo that appeared to come from this renter. The renter said he was not responsible for the damage and I refunded the security deposit in FULL. As for our beds and pillows....the beds are all Sealy Posturpedic (I think they’re pretty comfy!). As for the network channels… we get the New York City networks beamed to our Satellite Dish as well as hundreds of other channels, including 30 Movie channels. There was a rare problem with the Dish Satellite Network signal from NY four of the days this renter stayed at our home affecting only the network channels. Thousands of customers were affected by it. We strive for very happy guests! And our reviews show that…thanks for considering us!

A Beautiful Home In Paradise!!!!

The Casa Trahan was spectaculer!!! The rooms were gorgeous with so much space you couldn't ask for more!! Everything you needed to just walk in and start living was right there!! The pool was perfect, always clean and we had it to ourselves for the entire trip (although we would have shared) It was like we had our own private pool!!! Snorkeling in front of the condo was some of the best we have ever done and we have been to Cozumel several times and are always looking for great reef locations. We saw everything you always hope to see right infront of the condo!! We will definately be back and will tell anyone going to the Island to stay at the Casa Trahan!!!! Our only regret was leaving to come home!! Thank you so much for sharing your home with us!!
