Terrific condo surrounded by beautiful landscape!

We were very happy with this condo. We just got back from our 6 day stay and hope to return again next year! The view from this condo is spectacular & breath taking! We enjoyed the sunset every evening & watching out for whales! The photos on the website are accurate. We found the condo to be clean and everything was working. Lots of room for our family of 4; the unit is very comfortable. In the hall closet, we were pleasantly surprised to find a great supply of beach chairs, boogie boards & beach towels available. Saves us from having to buy them & then have to leave behind. The property was very clean, well manicured & beautifully maintained! We were very impressed with all the landscaping that has been done! All the landscaping adds to the privacy around the pool & tennis courts. We snorkeled every morning right in front of our building, enjoyed playing tennis, enjoyed the pool and the beach is very nice. The sand is so soft! We will definately be recommending this property to family & friends. We enjoyed the Luau at Old Lahaina - a great evening out with terrific entertainment! We took the kids zip-lining with Sky-line Eco Adventures who have great, great staff! Such fun! This property & condo are so nice, we felt that we didn't want to leave to venture out! We were very happy to stay put & relax!
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Girls Getaway, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway

Great stay!!
We had a great time at this beautiful condo. Our 4th trip to Maui, first time at this property and we think it's the best of all we have stayed in (also stayed up north near Lahaina). Amazing sunsets, amazing beach, fabulous snorkeling right outside the property, convenient shopping nearby... this place has it all. Kitchen is very well stocked and unit has a bbq on the lanai. Furniture is comfortable and electronics are all you could ask for. I took one star off because the lanai doors didn't lock, but as the unit is on the second floor, it's less of an issue. That was the only thing not perfect about our stay! We absolutely would stay here again and hope to. You won't be disappointed.

We did not realize how nice the beach here was until we walked the beach near the Fairmont. This is a great location. Very private and quiet. Nice pool. Great landscaping. We loved the place. We will stay again.

This was the perfect place to complete our Hawaiian vacation. It was relaxing, beachfront, and many wonderful restaurants around it. There's also a grill on the lanai, which we loved, when we didn't feel like going out to lunch or dinner! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Makena Surf and highly recommend it to others!

Fantastic Property, Convenient Location, Gorgeous Views
This is one of the most impressive condos we've ever stayed in. Great location in Maui, fantastic beach and beautiful property. We won't consider staying anywhere else in the future.
