We had a lovely week at beach road villas. Everything we needed was there the bikes were great and we only used the car once to go to Captiva. Wi fi was good to have. The villa was spotless and although it could do with updating it was fine. We would return. Peaceful and close to everything. Fred was a star.

I was so happy to find a place on Sanibel that allowed us to bring our doggie with us. This condo provided everything that we could possibly need as a home away from home. In fact, it was almost too good, because I really didn't want to leave. The view, although not off the ocean, was the next best thing. The canal and all the tropical plants were a treat to wake up to each morning. It is only a short walk to the beach and my dog and I enjoyed this walk each morning. The owners and staff were also very helpful and were eager to correct any problem that we might encounter. I don't believe you can ask for much more than that.

Our stay in Sanibel at Beach Road villas was wonderful. The owner and management of the villas were very accomodating. The owner put a basket on one of the property's bicycles for me and I used this bike all month. The unit was clean and well equipped. The hot tub was nice and hot and also clean. The grounds were beautiful and the environment was super relaxing. My husband enjoyed fishing in the canal steps from our unit. I enjoyed shelling at the beach a short walk away. We plan on returning next year.

We had a great time at beach road villas at Sanibel, everything was amazing, you can forget a lot of things at home but don't worry you'll find it there! the house has everything you need in a daily basis! You can walk to the beach or like I did riding a bike! :) We went there to celebrate my mom's 50th B day and we had a blast! even my dog had an awesome time there! dogs can go to the beach as well!

The Paz Party

This was my second stay at the Beach Rd Villas and I can not be more pleased. The villa was spotless and the staff thought of everything from beach equipment to laundry detergent! The kids loved being taken in the wagons to the beach which is literally a two minute walk. I can't wait to be back next year!

Thank you Beach Road Villas for hosting another memorable vacation in Sanibel! We had the pleasure of staying in a newly remodeled unit (Lighthouse). The villa was clean and bright, very accommodating and (as always) thoughtfully equipped. A home away from home atmosphere. BRV has been the exclusive destination for our family vacation for many years. We were delighted to discover that some of our suggested changes from last year's visit had been incorporated into the renovation, particularly the flooring on the screened patio which is such a pleasant place to sit and read, particularly in the very early hours of a beach morning. Our shelling excursions to the lighthouse yielded a trove of shells due to the tropical storm that had parked itself over the island for the first two days of our stay. The storm turned out to be an absolute thrill more than a washout! If you like to take home clean shells, check out the set up which the owner has placed on the side of the property to wash your treasures! Noteworthy too are the bicycles that are made available to guests of BRV, negating the expense of renting which can get very costly, especially if your vacation includes several people and is more than a few days in duration. Since it will be your primary mode of travel throughout the island for sightseeing (and ice cream!!), having bikes in good working order like those at BRV and always seeming to be available is a real plus as well. We found that even if all of the units are occupied, there were still plenty of bikes on hand for everyone. We were never disappointed. The same goes for beach equipment. I would be remiss if I did not mention that the owner has taken particular pride in maintaining very lovely, landscaped surroundings. In the quiet of the mornings and evenings, you can listen not only to nature but also to the sound of water cascading from the fountains that grace the courtyard. We have watched the grounds change over the years as they have matured into a tropical paradise. Though the extent of your rejuvenation is up to you, the scene that has been carefully set by the BRV owner can't help but propel you into a very relaxing and therapeutic stay at Sanibel. Truly, Sanibel is a fun place to play and BRV is a gem. I highly recommend both for your vacation destination.

We recently stayed at Beach Road Villa. It was very comfortable and clean and had everything you could want. The landscaping is filled with banana and coconut trees, flowers and shrubs and was very tropical. The Inn is very "old" Florida Spanish style, quiet, restful and peaceful and the fountain is such a nice touch.
Sanibel was fun! Lots to see and do. Be sure to check Ding Darling (incredible birding) and Captiva Island. Free bikes were a huge plus- we rode all over the island. Shopping, resturants and sites to see are all reasonably close. Beach was very close and so nice. The water was clear and warm and there were sea shells everywhere. We truly had a wonderful time and will stay here again when we come back to tropical Sanibel. It is so nice to have finally found a comfortable peaceful "home" on Sanibel!

We recently spent a week in July at Beach Road Villas. We were in the Sea Oats Villa - one of two nearest the boat canal. The Sea Oats has a huge master bedroom with a very comfortable king-sized bed and the guest bedroom has a comfortable queen-sized bed. The linens were very nice – high quality. The villa was spotless. The living/dining room was spacious although we ate many meals on the screened lanai. The kitchen was recently remodeled and had everything you would need to cook. It was well appointed with higher-end kitchen items. The BBQ grill was also very handy, and turned out to be a great way to meet other guests at the Inn.

The grounds of the property were beautifully landscaped, with many trees producing fruit (key limes, bananas and coconuts). There is a hot tub and large deck area with tables. There is an outdoor shower, plenty of bikes to use (for free) - there are many convenient bike paths on Sanibel also excellent for jogging. The garage also has beach chairs, beach umbrellas etc, and wagons to transport those items to the beach which is a very short distance away down a lovely path. The seashell-laden beach was very nice. The water was perfect for swimming. It was difficult to choose which shells to bring home – they were all so interesting. All in all I would highly recommend Beach Road Villas to anyone looking for a real gem on Sanibel Island. We had a great time and will be back.
