There is also a lot to explore outside the gates of Reynolds Plantation. Lake Oconee Village, just at the entrance to the plantation, has fashion shopping, dining, catering, health and wellness, a Publix grocery store and other essential services. Reynolds Plantation is also a great starting point for visiting the wonderful surrounding area. Many small towns are close by which include: Greensboro, 12 miles north, is known for its antique shopping, historic sites, festivals and events; Eatonton, 17 miles south, has downtown shopping, Victorian architecture and museums of famous Eatonton natives; Madison, 20 miles northwest, has been named #1 Small Town in America and features performances by the Atlanta Symphony; Athens, 50 miles north, is a university town and cultural center which boasts theater, concerts and its popular Broadway show series.

While you stay at our beautiful home, you are surrounded by award-winning golf courses all within a five minute drive away. You are within walking distance of the National Golf Course driving range. We are members of both the Reynolds National Club which allows access to 81 holes of golf, and the award-winning Cuscowilla Golf Club ( only a short 10 minute drive away ). You can have access to all of these courses as our unaccompanied guest. Tee times happily arranged upon request. The Five Diamond Ritz-Carlton Lodge is minutes away that offers spa services and fine dining. Other fine dining and restaurant options within Reynolds Plantation gates and beyond is available upon request. You have access to three full-service marinas in the Plantation and you can park your boat at our 24hr assigned private dock on the lake. The marinas rent out boats on an hourly or daily basis. If you enjoy cycling we maintain 5 bicycles in our garage for your use. Also, if you like kayaking, we have 3 single kayaks, 1 double kayak and 5 lifejackets for your enjoyment. There is a large grassy common area between our house and the lake to play sports in. A basketball hoop in the front driveway is available for your use. An outdoor firepit with stacked wood in garden storage area behind house is complimentary. Wireless internet is found anywhere on the property and a printer is available in the office off the kitchen. Please note that our house is located in a very quiet executive class neighbourhood and in order to ensure that the environment of our home is respected particularly in the late evening hours, a refundable damage/noise deposit is required with each reservation.
