Relaxation at its finest @ HHH

Making Maui our destination for our 20th anniversary was a no brainer and choosing to stay in Hana for 3 days was very special. Our only mistake was battling the ridiculous crowds at Costco in Kahului upon arrival. For a short stay in Hana, get your essentials at Safeway, then hit the Hana Hwy. Don't travel this Hwy. without reading Maui Revealed, as so many wonderful sights are just driven by. A short drive from HHH towards Hana will answer any food worries you have. We made a stop @ HANA FRESH FARM every morning to pick up lunches for our hikes and our dinner, which you can just take back to the house. These ladies make incredible smoothies and have different & fresh food each day. This house has you covered, rain or shine. It is secluded with a distant view of the ocean. Eating, hanging out and reading on this screened porch is like being pampered in a custom tree house as you overlook the lush green vegetation below. As the evening cools and the rain begins, open the sliding doors and windows & sleep to sounds of your Hana rain forest! Joining our granddaughter on a search around the
grounds was a highlight to identify the numerous flowers, fruit, coconut & macadamia nut trees. We saw our first bunch of banana trees. This entire house is well appointed; though the Master Bedroom mattress could be more comfortable. The Master shower and outdoor shower are like nothing you've ever seen. Upon arrival to HHH, having fresh flowers and a basket of fresh fruit was very welcoming! Do not miss sights: Wai'anapanapa State Park Trail, soft sands of Hamoa Beach, Venus Pools, 'Ohe'o Gulch & Pipiwai Trail and Lindbergh's grave. If you go beyond this point, expect to see a dry, desert like side of Maui & don't stop at the Kaupo Store unless you like the rude owner and her growling dog! Thanks Helene for a unforgettable stay. We hope HHH is available for our 25th!!

Owner's Response: We are so sorry that you found the master bedroom mattress uncomfortable. It is a top of the line unit that we had shipped in from Dallas, and several prior guests have complimented us on it. I guess individuals are unique in their mattress preferences, and am glad that this will not keep you from returning to the Hale. We look forward to having you celebrate your 25th anniversary with us.
