Romantic Escape

The home was warm and cosy, everything you need was there! The towels and bedding were great. We took our daughter and grandchildren to Santa's Land on Friday, It was a magical place for a 2 and 7 year old! The next day we went to Cherokee to see the sights, watched native american dance, visited the bears, ate and shopped! We also took a ride to Tenn to see the beautiful leaves. It was great to have a nice "home" to return to each evening. We all loved the house and the trip! Can't wait to go again! The owner was wonderful to work with!!!

We were very pleased with this cottage. It was extremely clean and had everything we needed. The location was perfect - about 5 minutes from the Blue Ridge Parkway and maybe 10 minutes to Waynesville. Rental was easy and owners are great to deal with.

We found the Beary Cozy Cabin to be wonderful. We enjoyed the house, the area, the weather. Very nice weekend away. We would not recommend the Maggie Valley Restaurant or Arf's. The large Steak House was very Good as was Joey's Pancake House.

This property was very clean. I would definitely recommend it to a friend just as long as they don't reserve it for the time we want. We look forward to returning hopefully soon.

We had a wonderful, relaxing time in the Cozy Cabin. It is in a great location and is equipped with everything you need to have an enjoyable trip. We would recommend this cabin for anyone who want to just get away and relax. It looks just like it is on the website. Had a great time.-perfect location for skiing- Thanks Rosy!

The cottage is very warm and inviting. It is tastefully decorated. It is well-equipped for all the comforts of home away from home. It is conveniently located to many of the activities available in Maggie Valley. We had a very pleasant and memorable experience.

I stayed in the cottage for a week at the end of July. It's very cozy and yet it seems to have plenty of room. I was alone so it was great for me. It has all the comforts of home. It has easy access 3/4 of a mile up the road. I slept with the windows open every night and actually had to turn off the ceiling fan. It was very comfortable considering it was July! Here in South Florida that would be very uncomfortable so it was a nice change for me. There is a stream across the street which you can hear, but I never saw it.And don't go without having breakfast at Joey's! Overall, it was a very enjoyable week for me. The deck is shaded by trees and is very comfortable to sit in the late afternoon with a book and a glass of wine.

We stayed at this cottage with our son and his wife. It was wonderful to arrive and find the cottage clean and just as it was described to us. The kitchen is well-appointed and had everything we could need.

Booking with Rosie was easy, and her response to our communications was prompt and detailed. We had stayed at another home in the Fie Top Road area 3 years ago, so we knew the location of this cottage before traveling. However, it is easy to locate and close to all Maggie Valley attractions.

Ghost Town is just at the base of the hill, and the elk at Cataloochee are only minutes away. Joey's Pancake House is only a short ride also, which my husband really appreciated.

Our experience was a positive one, and I would recommend it to visitors with 2 - 4 people in their party. The cottage is small and cozy, so it might be most suitable for adults rather than younger children. Rosie will make you feel welcome to her lovely retreat.

This was our first time in a beary cozy cottage and it felt like home, our children had a great time, they loved going mining, our daughter she's 2 felt like home she didn't want to leave, we went fishing and got a lot of trouts, everything was perfect and very clean, a beary cozy gottage is a great place to have a gataway
