Welcome to the Lighthouse! If you are looking for a relaxing, beautifully decorated, vacation destination with all the amenities, and a Truly, Unique Floor Plan you have arrived. The living area, kitchen, master bedroom, and one of the additional bedrooms have panoramic, gulf front views through walls of floor to ceiling windows. That’s right - this condominium has Two Gulf Front Bedrooms! This floor plan is the largest 3 bedroom layout in the complex with 1547 square feet of living space and an 85 Foot Balcony.

This new complex offers the best amenities in Gulf Shores. Our unit includes all developer upgrades featuring tile floors throughout, granite counter tops in the kitchen and baths, and an upgraded stainless steel kitchen appliance package.

This unit is fresh and new to the rental market. Be among the first to enjoy the bright, beach cottage decor in this beautiful 3BR, 3BA condominium. Our condominium is located on the 6th floor and has incredible, unobstructed eastern, southern and western views of the beach from the oversized, wraparound balcony.

The Master Suite is truly luxurious and has a wall of floor to ceiling windows providing an incredible view of the beach. It has a king-size pillow top bed, 32-in LCD/DVD combination HDTV, and a sliding glass door that opens to the balcony. The private master bathroom features a his and her vanity, large walk-in closet, large jetted whirlpool garden tub, and separate shower.

The remaining two bedrooms feature queen-size, pillow top beds with private full bathrooms. Each of these bedrooms is equipped with a 20-in LCD/DVD combination TV. Remember, one of these bedrooms is gulf front.

The Living Area also has unparalleled views overlooking the beach with access to the balcony. A 40-in LCD/DVD combination HDTV is provided in the living room along with a Queen size, sleeper sofa. The adjacent dining room has a large table with seating for six, or you can enjoy dining on the balcony at a bar height table that seats four.

The Kitchen is fully equipped with dishwasher, microwave, stove, side by side refrigerator/freezer with in door ice/water dispenser, toaster, blender, coffee maker, mixer, and a bar with seating for four. Plenty of cabinets offer ample storage space for food and supplies. All utensils and dishware are furnished. Adjacent to the kitchen is a large laundry room with a full sized washer and dryer with iron, ironing board and vacuum. Free local telephone service is included along with a high speed Internet connection with free unlimited use.

The Lighthouse is located directly on the Gulf of Mexico in the heart of Gulf Shores, Alabama and is near entertainment, restaurants, and shopping including grocery stores. Every amenity that you can imagine is here for you including: 2 outdoor pools (one lap pool and one zero entry pool that's great for the kids), an indoor heated pool, 2 hot tubs, exercise room, sauna and 635 feet of beachfront.

The Lighthouse condominium building is located on Highway 182 (455 East Beach Blvd.), approximately 0.7 mile east of Highway 59. Approximate drive times are as follows: Pensacola, FL (0:45 hr), Mobile, AL (1:15 hrs), New Orleans, LA (4:00 hrs), Jackson, MS (6:00 hrs), Birmingham, AL (5:00 hrs), Atlanta, GA (6:30 hrs).

About Marty

From Richmond, Indiana. We intend to spend more time at the condo in the future when we retire. For now, its only a few weeks per year and the rest of the time is available for family, friends, and soon-to-be new friends!

Why Marty chose Gulf Shores

We fell in love with this place from our first visit, and were pleased to buy it from the original owners in this complex which was build in 2006. The view is breathtaking. The complex is fantastic. We very much enjoy spending time in the Gulf Shores area.

What makes this condo unique

Two bedrooms have full ocean view and balcony access. Full wrap-around balcony. Awesome, unobstructed Southern view from East to West anywhere in the unit with floor-to-ceiling glass windows. Quiet end unit.

My family visited Gulf Shores in June and the condo made the experience absolutely wonderful. Not to mention the beach. Yes, the sand really is white and beautiful. The kitchen was the best stocked in any condo or house I've rented. Everything I needed was there. I think I read 3 of the books there and left a couple of mine for others to read. We are already talking about returning next year for our summer vacation. Have a great vacation. If you booked this condo you can't go wrong.

Ocean views second to none!

We really enjoyed our stay in this beautiful condo. The ocean views were absolutely fabulous! We spent a lot of time outside on the spacious balcony just taking it all in. Coffee in the morning...wine in the evening... :) We also enjoyed all 3 pools, hot tubs, exercise room, and the beach. All were well maintained. We ate in several days and found the kitchen to be fully functional and complete with everything we needed. Having a bath with each bedroom was really nice, too. Even at full capacity, there was plenty of room. The owners were easy to work with, and we wouldn't hesitate to rent this condo again.

We spent the month of January at this beautiful condo. Just cannot find the words to describe our experience--the view is breathtaking as we spent many hours on the balcony, the condo was very tastefully decorated, well-maintained, and provided EVERYTHING we needed, Marty was most pleasant to work with and always helpful. The location was ideal!!! We would highly recommend this property, only not in January as we plan to return next year and again and again.

Great! Had issues with internet, but my husband was able to correct. Furnishings are wonderful but couch was pretty worn and maybe new bed linens would be nice. However, a wonderful place to stay. Large balconies are a total bonus for kids! Condo amenities were wonderful. Indoor pool was always clean as well as outdoor pools and hot tubs. Would recommend this unit to everyone.

The complex was in the middle of an internet upgrade the last 2 weeks of December to provide 10MB download / 2MB upload for guests and is now fully functional. Sorry for the temporary inconvenience. Our housekeeping staff will review the bed linens and will take any worn items out of service and replace them with new for future guests.

This was the third year we have stayed in Lighthouse 601, and needless to say, we love the place. We enjoy the roominess of the condo and the inviting decor. We think the 6th floor is the ideal distance from the beach. We hope to return again next year.

As I had stayed in your condo previously, I know what a treat was in store. Our week was absolutely grand. The condo was all I had remembered and more. You have a top notch unit which I recommend to all who ask. The kitchen is fully set up with all any cook could desire. The beds are so comfortable. The balcony access to three of the rooms is ideal for allowing the ocean breeze to calm a tired soul. The only recommendation I feel indicated is updating of the furniture on the balcony. Other than that, this is an ideal unit for a family vacation. We so enjoyed staying in your unit. Thanks for making our retreat from reality such a pleasure.
