Perfect Hawaiian Island paradise retreat

We have been vacationing on the Big Island of Hawaii for over 15 years and know it well. We have decided that the Kolea Resort is the best location for all the adventuring we like to do and the convenience of walking to pick up groceries or dine out. The whales are super-active in the winter and easily observed from the shore and you can snorkel and swim with turtles, stand up paddle, surf etc without getting in a car. We love to hike the shoreline by Kolea in either direction and enjoy the frequently uninhabited beaches in the area. Robert kept the booking process simple and easy and unit 16g was fully furnished with everything we needed and very comfortable. We also enjoyed relaxing poolside and watching the sunsets from the hot tub. I highly recommend this location!

We stayed at this property for a wedding and it was great. Robert was very responsive to my emails and everything was as advertised. If I was headed to the island again I would rent this same unit in a heartbeat.

Beautiful Big Island Condo

This was a very, very nice condo. It was more than I had hoped for! The condo was beautifully ready for our arrival. Equipped with everything that we could have needed and more. The beach house with the supplied towels was a very nice spot. Close to groceries and great restaurants lets you decide how to spend your day. Kolea condo units are a great place to spend your holiday!

Everything about this Big Island condo is first class.Beautifully clean and well appointed,situated in a lovely complex close to shops and swimming beaches.

Roberts Kolea unit includes everything you could possibly want during your stay on the Big Island. He generously provides access to beach toys and gear. The rooms are very spacious with comfortable linens. We enjoyed the quick walk to the shops and restaurants across the street. Access to the pool and beach is just a few minutes walk from this unit. Thank you for making our stay so easy and worry free.

Our family just stayed 9 days in beautiful Waikoloa, Hawaii at this beautiful condo! It was everything it was advertised to be and then some! The private Lanai with gas BBQ and gourmet kitchen were great for not wanting to eat out every night! Sometimes you just want to relax and stay in after a nice long day at the beach! Location could not have been better...just a short walk to amazing A-bay for some great snorkeling, seeing sea turtles up close and personal, and breathtaking sunsets! Close driving distance to Hapuna & Mauna Kea beaches for some great boogie-boarding and great sand beaches. Great shopping and restaurants are within walking distance. The owner of this condo was very helpful in giving us great information on shopping and getting around the area. He was very courteous in answering our e-mails, etc. in a timely fashion! We would HIGHLY recommend this place to any of our friends or family visiting the Big Island, and would definately stay here again in the future!

Our family had a wonderful time relaxing and enjoying our vacation. Great unit and location for relaxing. The unit is clean, nicely furnished and well maintained. We love it that the unit is a very short walk to the pool/beach or if you want to eat out several restaurants are also within walking distance.

Loved our stay at Kolea. Quiet, peaceful and enough fun to keep 3 kids happy. The outdoor grill and lanai is awesome. Coffee outside with the geckos was great. Close to the best beaches and the boogie boards were used everyday. Stargazing in the hottub! 16G was immaculate and the sheets were wonderfully soft. We hope to come back soon!
