Cozy home 0.5 mile from one of Rhode Island's beautiful beaches (Scarborough Beach). This fully furnished home has an eat in kitchen, 2 bedrooms, 1 bath and living room with fireplace., dishwasher and washer and dryer. Relax on the outdoor deck with grill. Hot and cold outdoor shower. Enjoy a walk on the beach (Narragansett Town Beach, Scarborough Beach 1&2, Sand Hill Cove Beach and Salty Brine Beach), take the ferry to Block Island, play 18 holes at nearby Golf Courses, enjoy a whale watch adventure, charter a deep sea fishing excursion or go surf fishing. Casual and fine dinning are nearby. Fresh seafood available on the docks of Galilee. Only 35 miles from Providence, where you can enjoy the theater, Historic sites, museums, scenic Riverwalk, River Fire at night, outdoor skating arena, and some of the best restaurants around.

A cozy, tidy, relaxing Rhode Island get-away

Renting a property for a week can be scary, especially when you are trying to please three other people (spouse and all-knowing children) as well as yourself (someone with a strong need to relax for a while). Happily, this property turned out to be one of the most perfect places we have ever stayed. Although the house was small we found it to be very, very comfortable, and spotless. The kitchen and bathroom had recently been upgraded, the bedrooms were restful, and the large deck and backyard looked out onto a wooded field. Best of all, the owners had thought of many little "touches" that made it like home - they left us brochures and maps as well as allowing us to use their bikes, beach towels and toys. Truly a gem, and we hope to return.

Looking forward to our fourth year!

My wife and I are already counting the days till we can return to this wonderful summer getaway house. The owners are so accommodating and the beach is beautiful. The property is immaculate and equipped with all that you need to get away from the world for awhile. An easy drive to Providence and Newport as well as all the other pleasures of the "Ocean State"! We discovered last year that an evening at Foxwoods Casino is also easy and fun. Rent this house!! You'll be glad you did.

Perfect summer getaway!

My husband and two young kids and I had a great stay at David and Jo-Ann's place. The house was cozy and neat as a pin, and my children enjoyed watching the classic kids' videos in the evenings. It was located on a quiet cul-de-sac. The eat-in kitchen had a nice big table with plenty of room for family meals. Scarborough Beach was close by, as was Galilee with the Block Island ferry and great seafood! Some beach equipment (blanket, boogie boards, chairs) was provided in the shed, which was much appreciated. The vacation was fun and relaxing -- everything we were looking for in a summer getaway. And the price made it a great value, too. We're already looking forward to returning next year!

Second year in a row staying here, love it. The beach is close and there are tons of restaurants in the area. I would definitely recommend this place. The owners are great.

Relaxing Great Time

Our stay in early June was so very pleasant, We enjoyed the quiet neighborhood and the proximity of Newport and all its attractions. The home is super clean and comfortable. We just hope we have the opportunity to return for another vacation.

Wonderful Beach Cottage

Originally from RI, I have stayed in many beach houses in Narragansett. None, however, has been as great as this one. Every little thing you could need or want is provided by the owners! The house is extremely clean and free of any musty odors that are so prevelent in other beach houses. This was the most hassle-free RI beach vacation I have ever had. Especially coming from Arizona, it has always been an ordeal to drag linens, towels, etc...for previous rentals. Not this one!!! My husband and I brought ourselves and two small bags. It was so wonderful and stress free. Next time, I will rent longer than 1 week...we had a hard time leaving on our last day. Thank you for providing such a wonderful, clean, stress-free place to enjoy when traveling from out of state!

This was a great house very quaint. It had everything you needed. The owner put alot of thought into making it a home. Very clean. Everyone that came to visit was very impressed. Close to all the beaches, short drive to Newport, Block island ferry just down the road, convieniently located to stores. I would highly recommend it for a small family. Hoping to rent it again next year.
