My wife and I (both in our 50's) rented this property for a 9-day stay. The location is perfect, an elevator ride and 100 steps to a beautiful beach, walking distance to several restaurants, Walgreens, excellent grocery (10 min), and extremely convenient to all expressways. Motel6 quality accommodations, but extremely clean and exactly as advertised. Small, but perfectly adequate for a couple. Comes with beach chairs and a grocery cart! 5 min walk to bus stop, but bus schedules are, to put it charitably, erratic, esp weekends.

Secure parking on site. We rented a car and took three day trips: El Yunque/Luquillo, Ponce/Caguas, Rio Camuy caverns/Arecibo observatory. All very interesting, for those who want to see PR beyond San Juan, which we recommend.

Nearby restaurants: try Metropol, PiuBello, Lupi's. Plato is overpriced. PR cuisine is heavy, not very imaginatively seasoned. Service is way good or way bad - little middle ground. But hey, it was in the 80s every day, with just enough rain to make us remember what it was. Beats snow just about any time!

Bottom line, chat people up on the beach about what they're paying to stay in the beachfront hotels, and you will recognize the extraordinary value in this rental!

I traveled to Puerto Rico on a whim and am so happy I found this spot. The owners, Eddie and Michelle, are absolutely wonderful and easy to communicate with. As I was traveling alone, Eddie even offered to pick me up at the airport and then showed me around so I could get the lay of the land. Absolutely invaluable. Additionally, Michelle was a great resource helping me to find yoga studios/instructors in the area.

As for the apartment it is exactly as it appears. The absolutely perfect size for a single person or a couple. It is clean, tidy and has all of the basics anyone could need. Including beach towels! The neighborhood is perfectly safe and I felt very secure with the key access to the property and the building.

My favorite part was having the windows open the entire time and listening to the waves morning, noon and night. Not to mention, it takes about 30 seconds to get to the beach! There are bus stops nearby making a trip in to San Juan or any of the other beaches between the two a breeze!

I wouldn't hesitate to rent this property again and would recommend it to anyone!

My boyfriend and I were fortunate enough to have spent a relaxing week in this studio apartment. The location is absolutely amazing--right on the beach and a short walking distance from a supermarket, Walgreens, and many restaurants, food chains, and bars. While the studio is tiny, it is perfect for couples and is equipped with everything needed for a week in paradise: cutlery, bedding, and both bath and beach towels, among additional necessary items. The studio is very clean and well-maintained. Eddie and Michelle were excellent, doing everything they could to assure we would have the best stay possible. In fact, upon arriving, Eddie showed us around the area and gave us plenty of ideas for things to do throughout the week. I recommend visiting Old San Juan and El Yunque rainforest as far as attractions go. For eating, try Metropol, a Cuban-style restaurant. Also, though on the more expensive side, BLT Steak inside the Ritz Carlton was to die for. If you'd like breakfast, lunch, dinner, gelato, or just an alcoholic beverage, I definitely recommend going to Piu Bello right down the street.
This studio would be great for anyone, especially couples and tourists without cars. Our experience here was absolutely perfect--I highly recommend. Thank you Eddie and Michelle for a fabulous week in your place!

We tried this rental for our first trip to the San Juan area and had a great experience. The view is just as in the photo - the building is extremely close to the nicest part of the beach in San Juan. In fact, there is even another beach that's only a short walk in the other direction. Decent neighborhood with all the necessary stores, restaurants, etc. The owner is fantastic and gave us some good tips on places to go nearby. Admittedly its not a 5-star hotel room, but it is an incredible value for being so close to the beach. Its also close to the airport so its perfect for a weekend trip when you want to spend time relaxing and not worrying about slogging your luggage around. If you are looking for good access to beaches at a great price, this is the place!

Our trip to Puerto Rico and our stay in the condo was great! The condo itself was tiny, but it was more than enough room for my boyfriend and I. It was in a great location, as well. It was less than a minute walk to the touristy beach and maybe a three minute walk to the more local, Puerto Rican beach. It was within walking distance to a bunch of restaurants and bars and hotels with casinos if you wanted to stay in the area. We had a car, which was secure in the gated parking lot, so we were able to drive to all the places nearby. We were also able to cook most nights and the grocery store was only a few minutes away. The owners were also incredibly helpful and talked to us for a while on our first night, helping us decide what to do on our trip. I would definitely stay again!

My girlfriend and I spent a week and loved it. The location is great if you want beach time and it's a short walk to restaurants, bars and Pueblo supermarket. The property is perfect for two people, or even for a couple with a child. The apartment has most of the amenities you could need, from an iron to a blender. I would definitely recommend it.

I stayed with my boyfriend in this property in December. I have to say that it has been a really positive experience!
Michelle (the owner) and her husband are very nice and helpful. The house is perfect for two people. It is not big but it is fully equipped. Towels, beach towels, pans, cutlery...everything you may need!
It is absolutely clean.
The strong point of the property is the location, in front of the beach of Isla Verde, you can hear the waves while you are sleeping, that's so relaxing!
In the area you can find restaurants, bars, taxis and a bus stop (to the city centre or to te airport).

I will wish you to spend a beautiful holiday in this apartment as we did!

my boyfriend and I stayed at this condo for 8 days. It was very clean, and was in great location to the beach and in walking distance to eveything you need. the owners were very helpful and friendly. They were willing to do anything to make the stay as comfortable and nice as possible. We would go backto this condo again and would definitely recommend it to anyone. Thanks to Michelle and Eddie! You were fantastic!!
