Great Place for a Girls Reunion!

This beach house is fabulous! We spent our 20 year grad school reunion here (5 girls) and had the best time. Plenty of room for all of us, including the 2 full bathrooms (the outdoor shower was a treat!), 4 bedrooms, reminiscing around the large dining table, making a private call home on the back deck, reading on the living room couch, lounging on the front yard hammock, watching videos from the "Darth Vader" chair, and making breakfast, dinner, guacamole dip and Bloody Marys in the kitchen! It was unseasonably hot and humid in Spring Lake, so the A/C was a blessing! Really appreciated the beach chairs and passes - what a nice perk with the house rental! And we could NOT have survived without the included wifi--thanks! We walked the short distance to downtown shops via the lake and wooden bridge, taking in all the neighborhood flowers. The short walk from the train stop was extremely convenient, and I barely noticed the train whistles at all. Thank you again for the use of your beautiful home.

Fun and relaxing vacation with kids

A wonderful house at the beach, with all of the necessary summer amenities - hammock, outdoor shower, deck, grill, grassy play space, and plenty of comfortable indoor living space for the odd chance of rain. We rented the Branche house for the month of August 2010, after renting it twice before, and have fallen in love with Spring Lake. Beautiful beaches, pool pavilions, a great town and playground, and lovely people.
One important note as a renter - if you're traveling with kids best to rent a house that includes beach and pool badges, and preferably a locker. The Branche house does! Makes life much easier!
Lastly, the Branches are wonderful hosts! They did everything possible to make our stay the best it could be. They're readily available too.

Great place to spend the week with kids

This house was a great place to take young (and older) children. We have a 3yo and 1yo and the house was perfectly set up for them to have a large place to play during the day, both inside and out and privacy for each to sleep well at night. The park/lake/town/beach were all < 1 mile away, which made adventure-seeking toddlers very happy!

Great house!

What a wonderful house in Spring Lake! Located on a quiet street close to the train station, town, playgrounds and the beach. We have two small children and enjoyed playing in the yard and meeting the friendly neighbors on the street. We really enjoyed ourselves and would recommend this property.
