Outstanding Family Vacation

I spent a wonderful weekend at this beautiful chalet in the Poconos this Spring. The property and house were amazing; very clean, beautifully furnished and comfortably cozy. I went to have a girls weekend with my best friend and our two daughters which turned out to be a touching, meaningful getaway. As a workshop teacher and life coach, while there I imagined how fantastic this place would be as a retreat for my future workshops and classes. Many of the rooms including the deck would comfortably hold a nice size group for seminars admist beautiful surroundings and a peaceful energy. I feel a weekend retreat (immersion) is great for workshops and contributes to any client's success. A retreat in the Poconos is special and being surrounded by nature and lovely surroundings on the outside while making great changes on the inside is very impactful. The Chalet is beautiful and worth way more than the price and is everything you could want and more. If you offer a retreat and build part of the cost of the Chalet as a combined cost for the workshop plus lodging to your client's you will have a beautiful and affordable place to do your workshop since it sleeps 18. The owners are great to work with and they will trust and respect your business and will do everything and more to assure that you have a successful experience and enjoyable time. For years, I have been looking for the perfect retreat location to hold classes and workshops; and now I have finally found that place. I highly recommend this vacation Chalet for workshops, retreats, family gatherings, special birthday celebrations, girls weekends, etc. This is a beautiful backdrop in which once-in-a-lifetime memories are created and experienced that you will never forget!!

We had 12 in our group and there was plenty of room to spare. I've hosted group events in the past and many times you get to the house or facility and it is not what you expected. This house delivered in every way, from spacious accommodations to an enormous deck with a fantastic view. Whether you are hosting a group of friends or business associates, or a couple of families looking to get away together - this house provides everything you need for a wonderfully memorable experience. As an owner of a business in the service industry I truly appreciated the professionalism of the personnel involved with the management of this home. You will receive the same treatment you would expect at any 1st class resort.

Words simple escape me when I think about my first impressions of the Chalet. The second I turned into the private driveway on the beautifully wooded lot, stress literally leaved my body. The house itself is stunning to look at, and that's just from the outside!!!! Inside we found nothing but perfection. Everything we could of ever needed to enjoy our long weekend was there at our fingertips. The bedrooms were stocked with linens and extra blankets and had the most comfortable beds, it was hard to get out of them in the morning! The bathrooms were pristine clean, and had plenty of towels (there was also a washer and dryer in case we ran out). The kitchen was stocked with all the utensils you'd need to cook everything from breakfast to dinner...and all those snacks in between! The fireplaces added even more comfort and were perfect on the chilly nights. The furniture was amazingly comfortable, and it was hard not to get lost snuggling on the couches. The house itself is decorated like a model home, making you feel right at home, and kept immaculately clean. It looked like we were the first occupants ever! The deck off the large living room was huge, and our first thoughts were "We can't wait to come back in the summer and sit out here, grilling and chilling, watching the deer." There was a binder that had tons of local information in it for us which was great on those nights we didn't want to cook! Additionally, everything we could ever need, from pharmacy's to groceries, to Wal-Mart, were all within a short drive. And the proximity to the mountains were great!!! We could ski in the morning, come home for lunch, and go back for tubing in the evening. Everything was so convenient! My friends and I felt relaxed, rejuvenated, and renewed when we left. We had the perfect weekend, in the perfect house. We can't wait to go back!

We go to the Poconos with a group of friends every year. This house was perfect, had rooms for couples and a nice room with bunk beds. There was plenty of beds and plenty of room to hang out. Kitchen was great for cooking, nice big table for group meals. House was well maintained, very clean. Reasonable rates.Renting process was easy and owners returned emails and calls promptly. Will definately rent again!

Property owners are great to work with. Every detail is tended to during the paperwork phase of renting. House is exactly as described. It has plenty of space for togetherness if you are traveling with large group and also lots of smaller spaces for smaller group gatherings in different places in house. Beds are great, amenities are great. Try the sub shop at entry of community - great! Allergy people take note - because owners allow certain pets - there was a bit of dander, odor which can cause reaction to those who are pet allergic.

This home is great for a winter vacation. It was clean and comfortable. There is a lot of space for a large group to spread out. The kitchen is stocked with everything you could need! Owner was very helpful made the rental process easy!

Very nice home which was very clean and well-stocked with anything renters might need. This home is perfect for 2 to 3 couples or 2 to 3 families. Beautiful open floor plan on the main level with lots of natural light and large windows overlooking a peaceful wooded lot. We will definitely return!

My husband and I stayed off season for a long weekend getaway. The house was very nice and neat, with everything that you need. We had a great time, with plenty of quiet and relax. We enjoyed nice walks around the lake.

The owner was very easy to deal with, and very responsive. I would recommend this for anyone.
